Nice change from the 'let humans help free you from the big bad bullies and then we will destroy them' that seem to be the standard short Sci Fi fare. This feels like when Kirk went against the Klingons on Organia(?). Two wolves surrounded by sheep.

@@anonygent- There are many ways it could go. Imagine the Roman Empire meeting and developing relations with the Chinese. Or following the "What do you think of games?" question, imagine an interspecies Olympiad, or Cricket, football (pick your own code), or even Ice Hockey... There's also War Games, joint ventures in space explorations and so on. Maybe the "the 2 toughest kids on the block" decide to duke it out. There's any number of possible scenarios...
