"You fear boredom more than anything else..." I'm not gonna lie that line is genuinely making me do a background in myself and it fits way to well. I think I may have just broke a barrier with this... Thank you immensly!!

Not kidding...I nearly spilled my beer when I heard the human say STFU! But only nearly because I'm home "entertaining" my greatest corporate competitor with a barbeque. LOL

For the first time on on any one of these HFY videos, on any channel, I can say; "Great story!" None of the vast-this and indomitable-that bullshit, just a good story, tightly written and well told. Bravo.

That human must be a Marine xD No one shall, under any circumstance, take the resources needed to make my crayons. But I'm willing to share them with you as long as you like food, booze, and endless competition.

I would love to know which original tale this was based off. Would you oblige me by telling me the name of the story you allude to? this is a comment on diplomacy.... human style.
Great story. Truly understanding the human nature even when possessed by non-humans.

Not taking as much from the planets as they could is smart. Squeeze them too hard and that's how you get them rebelling. Much better to not have to do much and still get something.

Hahaha what a wonderful story. I didn’t know how it was going to turn out but I was happy when it did. My imagination lit up with possibilities of humanity and the Vass discovering together, hosting sports and competitions together and mutually exchanging the best of both cultures. Even hosting war games and cooperative exercises as they find ways to compete and push each other to greater heights without ever being actually enemies.
