Well, after hundreds of years of inflation, a trillion dollars would be worth less than today.

They've been largely riding on their fame for decades, now. But fame can only take you so far without substance, and substance is what they're lacking. Unless they figure out that entertainment is their business, not "protecting their interests at all costs," and do it very soon, the whole organisation is heading to the hot place in a wickerwork carriage device. Or at the top of the water flow without a propulsion instrument.

💡 the humans could start manufacturing artifical limbs for siliconians. Design each limb with a base they can comfortably form-shift around for a firm hold and control it using static pulses directed at the base plate. They'd be able to mount as many limbs as they want in whatever configuration they want with the only limit being how much multitasking the individual is comfortable with.
@truekurayami6 ай бұрын
It would take a lot of time and effort, because of of the issues would be the frame needed for attachment, would face similar psych issues as the Mech even if not to the same extent or trigger.
@serpentinious77456 ай бұрын
@truekurayami that's the thing though. They _don't_ need a frame, just the limbs. Organics need the frame because our bodies are too squishy to hold it together on our own, but siliconians are made of tougher stuff. They can provide the structure themselves just fine. The base of each limb could act as a handle allowing them to firmly grasp it with a bit of form shifting. And, without the chasis, there's no risk of claustrophobia.
@serpentinious77456 ай бұрын
Specialized limbs for land movement, climbing, swimming, flight, vacuum. Designs for basic tasks, fine manipulation, heavy lifting, tool integration, etc. Different limbs for different occasions, just like human cloths. And, if they don't need to stay spherical for rolling, some siliconians might decide to experiment with other shapes besides the standard sphere, perhaps even unlocking a form of siliconian "fashion" _(what have I done? 😱)_
