An existence of infighting had greased the war machine to always be ready.

All you need on a fundamental level is a stubborn refusal to polish the truth and hostile rejection of any ideology, goal or sentiment as being anywhere near as important as the primary task, survive and kill. We have many examples of completely useless parade armies today and even more becoming so, even in countries that presumptively have everything they need to know better yet they don't.

They worship a box of chicken bones taped to the bottom of the hyperdrive when we told them it was silly and had to go they smiled then proceeds 3 weeks of being unable to fix the drive and all the humans said was "Betty demands her offering, sacrifices are to be made" in further note when a human "mechanic" says it's important don't question it next ill speak on "percussive maintenance" and the 15% reduction of down time across the star fleet since and the shrines to the mechanic/machine gods

@ernestoprogames6597 No that's not it. An alien coming to a human and saying "Take me to your leader" is and almost century old cliche line in science fiction. The line troopers were chuckling because in cannon they were actually hearing and alien say "Take me to your leader".

What do humans know of war? You could as much ask what a fish knows of water, or a bird knows of the sky.
@holycarp16766 күн бұрын
I'd say instead: what a deer knows of venison, or a cow knows of beef less a thing needed for life, more a thing that could be your future or a way to survive, hated as it may be

Just off the title, if someone's running around a battlefield with impressively primitive technology, what are they doing that makes up for the tech difference? That's what you need to watch for

If you look back at war you find that many of the things we use today are updated versions of tactics or tools from back in the day. So yes. Just because you have a modern assault rifle doesn't mean that guy with an old musket, but knows what they are doing, can't kill you.
@noppornwongrassamee894111 күн бұрын
If that musket is rifled, he might actually have more range than your fancy modern battle rifle, and he's going to make his one shot count.

I think SG-1 said it better when they reminded the resistance Fighters about how one being a weapon of Terror and the other being a weapon of War.
@lekeris70144 күн бұрын
@@davidtherwhanger6795 Americans had rifled repeater rifles at least 20 years before the army stopped using muskets, and even in ww1, armies were using bolt-action rifles, which were the firearm development of the century, before the start of the century. (prussians stole the early french design of bolt-action rifles and im sure you can figure out when the prussians fell)

Nope, and I never do this outside of very specific circumstances (which I divulge if I do!). If people think I've genuinely made a mistake, I always say - Find the original video and link it. If you do and I've genuinely made a mistake, I'll post a new one to replace it!

It's likely a bug on KZbin side. I've seen videos pop up and then watched them. Then, the same video was unavailable without being a channel member. My favorite was a video that I commented on that was then released to public after a good bit of time. I had people asking about how my comment was so old.
