That bounty hunter will NOT deliver his prey to his employer. He felt the anger of the human, and now, he feels fear, his own fear. That gas canister is of no use when you can't move to grab it... Or, at least not fast enough.

The bounty hunter should worry about the broken ones. Those are more dangerous.

Still raises the question of why they would need to offer such a high bounty for a human if non-psionic races can handle them fairly easily.

The high bounty was because no one had succeeded in actually bringing the prisoner in. Doesn't mean he hadn't been captured before, to the captor's short-lived regret.

@@merlinathrawes746 Maybe but we did not hear about anything that would justify that. All it took to catch him was a bit of gas I would guess most bounty hunters got access to. On top of that telepathy was apparently rare among bounty hunters.
