Mr. Celebrity… I think comparing Adisco to Owu wasn’t fair as it as though you are comparing apples with Oranges. I’m Ghanaian but did my secondary school in Lagos at Igbobi College, Yaba -Lagos, which is one of the very best in Nigeria (in terms of infrastructure and academics). There are also many good secondary schools which would be a better comparison to the likes of Addisco , Prempeh etc, such as Kings College, St. Finbarrs and some of the Federal government Colleges. For future contents, you may want to look into any of the aforementioned schools for proper context. Cheers!!

You are probably from the Eastern part of Nigeria, Igbos, because you guys enjoy showing the worst parts of Nigeria..The last I visited Nigeria, I saw high schools that blew my mind..Some of the private high schools in Nigeria looked like some of the ivy Universities here in United States….One thing is for sure, when Nigerians do things, they go all the way out to make it grand….What really matters the most isn’t the buildings, but how well the schools prepare students for life outside their comfort zones…In this aspect, no high school in Africa can challenge Nigeria…Our students outperform their African peers in USA, UK, Canada, and even in other European countries….Google has all the facts…Nigerian government has failed woefully when it comes down to education, but some wealthy Nigerian citizens have taken up the responsibility of making sure that our educational system isn’t too far behind….
@Mr.CelebrityGH20 сағат бұрын
I am a Ghanaian and the high school I showed is a Government school and it's absolutely free for all Ghanaians... There are also private schools in Ghana but my focus was on the government schools. A little education for you, in WASSCE education, Nigeria in recent history comes nowhere close to Ghana. Last 2 years, out of 270 best students in WASSCE, over 200 were from Ghana. That should be a dent on the image of Nigeria considering the number of candidates that sit for this examination. Nigerian government must sit up and work. The fact that you are talking about Nigerians abroad and not Nigerians in Nigeria is the exact problem I'm talking about.

@@Mr.CelebrityGH My Ghanaian students here in United States told me that the reason why some of them struggle in some courses is because of chew and pour…I have never heard of that, and they explained to me that education in Ghana is mostly about memorization…WEAC result doesn’t mean anything if students with all A’s struggle outside of their comfort zone…In Nigeria, they don’t teach how to memorize for WAEC; they teach you how to survive and that’s why Nigeria students thrive in whatever field they find themselves….They told me that I changed their lives through my emphasis on concept based learning instead of mere memorization of facts…I have tutored countless number of Ghanaian students here in United States and they all said the same thing…A professor from Sweden once told that Nigerian high students are the best that he’s ever known…They come to Sweden with scholarships and dominate in every department…They teach us how to think and not chew and pour….They teach us survival skills and that’s we always survive…

@@Mr.CelebrityGH Nigeria’s educational system may have been ruined by corrupt politicians, but Nigerian students still find ways to make things happen, academically speaking…They no longer rely on our educational system, they rely on their ability to survive.. And they are making Africa proud…Majority of black medical doctors in United States and Canada, and UK are from Nigeria, and most of them obtained their medical degrees from Nigeria…We don’t rely on our failed educational system; we rely on our survival skills….
