To think we haven’t come a long way in over a century of aviation would be a horrible claim. Enjoy 8 minutes of how mankind has absolutely mastered the laws of aviation and defying physics with these birds. From the world war era to the future of aircraft, these machines would absolutely make the Wright brothers cry tears of joy or make you want to shove a middle finger up any other animal’s ass to assert humanity’s dominance over all lifeforms on earth. Hundreds to thousands of horsepower in these engines definitely emphasize that we are “here for a good time, not a long time” but also knowing the possibility that one of these future machines have the power to hold atomic weapons that could easily end life on earth. But who the hell cares? For 8 whole minutes let’s pretend the FAA does not exist and watch these beautiful birds split the sky open. Part 3 of Best High Speed Flyovers is here, almost 2.5x longer than the previous 2. To all aviation geeks or just people binge-watching on KZbin, this one’s for you.

NEVER trust the Blue Angels. Whenever I go to an air show with them, I make sure to start scanning my surroundings as soon as I see one disappear. Cause that’s when you know they’re gonna make a surprise pass.

Here I am AGAIN, with tears welled up in my eyes, EVERY TIME I watch this. Nothing else does this to me. I'm in awe of the skilled pilots, the heart-stopping power and speed. A great array of jets and planes. Some pretty brave (crazy) people who still have heads. Filmers have to be ready and know it'll be a split second chance to capture some of these jets. They did an awesome job! The last shot of the flyover as the National Anthem was ending, is what gets the tears spilling out. Our military, the protective power of these pilots/jets along with our country's song proudly sung, is over the top emotional. My dad was in the navy, brother in Vietnam. Even before 9/11, I flew the flag off my balcony facing a very busy st. so everyone could see, 8 mths out of the yr. (harsh winters, windy area) I also love watching the Navy's carriers, and how these young men and women team up to carry out an extremely dangerous, but honorable job helping these pilots take off and land safely.

When I was graduating from basic training in the RAF we had three Vulcan's do a fly past, having been to MANY airshows I have never been exposed to so much sound in one go, what made it even more of an experience was it was the dead of winter, this would have been one of the last times they would have flown in formation together as they had been retired from service within a handful of months.
