Went there in the month of May 2023. Must say, the beauty of the place and the hospitality and warmth of the family cannot be explained. They even baked me a cake for my birthday that I celebrated with all the guests, bestowed me with a traditional hat(topi) to wear. Planning a stay there again as soon as possible and bringing my other friends along.

How to reach here if you don't have a car

From Manali, you can take a direct taxi to Zostel Homes Rashil, which costs ~INR 3,500. Alternatively, you can take an HRTC bus to Keylong/Tandi pul, and from there, board a bus towards Udaipur (Lahaul). Then, get down at the Jobrang bus stop- it is just a gate leading to the village. You can hike, hitchhike, or call the property to arrange transportation (chargeable) to Zostel Homes Rashil (~5 km).
