I just wanted to point out, Ranch of Rivershine is NOT a demo but a game in Early Access. It's past it's demo state since half a year and plays like a full game already. It's really cozy and worth to be supported hence the regular updates and the developer who listens to their community well. :) Thanks for the video, appreciated! Also thank you for pointing out that rdr is NOT a horse game but has super realistic mechanics around horses. :) Edit: I was already stunned reading "Rising Star" because it reminded me of the adopted foal from the "Frisian Horses" channel. And then I saw the name "Uniek" at the stable, haha. Amazing, that was such a cute coincidence, gotta check that game out definitely.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Star Equestrian at all! Definitely give that one a try if you haven't already. Nothing compares to Rift Trails on RedM. I'm glad you included it in your video.

Rising star is probably based on friesian horses channel where mare called Uniek adopted foal and now the foal is growing an adult. Deffinetly check their channel. Game looks cute (:

My favorite is without a doubt RDR2 with the mods. It left me speechless, it's exactly what I've always wanted since I played it on PS4. I put about 1,500 hours into it in a year and a half (I think). It's a shame and it breaks my heart that I don't have a PC that can handle the game, otherwise I would definitely play it.

It really is one of a kind. The story the emotions you feel. Even in RDO - thats just the multiplayer world - so much could of been done or expanded upon. It just hurts but it's what inspired this community so I'm lucky in that way. It's just so frustrating we can't get more content from a game that has so much to offer that already exists just needs to be released. Gang horses. Old Outlaw passes. True... the amount of clothes, passes, expansions, horses, and many things that they decided to abandon that they most likely already had done. A lot of wasted potential. If I remember correctly, RockStar said they were going to stop adding content to put everything into GTA6 (money and attention).@@ChelseaLiz

Might be a silly question but I’ve always been an rdr console player until I got a PC.. does REDM allow for you to have whatever character+horse? I’m a tad insecure about not being a high level in pc RDO and having to basically restart in any way.

Such a great video - i wish there were more options in the gaming world for xbox and PS4 than PC 😭 back in the day there were some greatn Pippa Funnel games (also on PC some on ps2) which were so ahead for its day and story. i'd love to play the red dead version but can't as only on PC. it looks amazing though - v tempted to reinstall sims on my PC just for the horse version!

Would love a game which also has an interesting Story / adventure to play. Just breeding and doing competitions gets boring after a while. The closest one to that is probably redm.. there were some adventurous, interesting horse games about 10-15 years ago, but the graphics are so horrible they are unplayable nowadays :(

the game isn't released yet,the early acces/game is coming soon! hope this helps :) EDIT:i guess it's just an special early acces,the developers decide to give some special players the early acces,like youtubers

Is there PvP in the RDO server? That's the only thing that puts me off multiplayer red dead, I suck at combat and only really enjoyed the game for the story and the horses.

Not unless both parties consent to it! There’s rules against pvp in main towns/areas, and against pvp against people who didn’t say they want to participate in it

You will have to look into Redm :D Redm uses Red Dead Redemption 2's frameworks and creates multiplayer servers. As far as I know it's not possible on single player with mods yet but you can always check out nexus mods. Otherwise you'd have to find a redm server that offers horsey content. ^-^

Redm is free to play - people make different servers but nobody can charge to play on redm since it was developed by Rockstar

Horse games are really boring and I don't even play them and they're also really expensive😖 I've wanted ride irl for almost 8 years and my parents can't afford it, im still beginner and I ride less than 5 times a year☹️

I wish I could share my horses with you!! - I totally understand. Growing up I was lucky to have a neighbor who had horses and she shared them with me. I went trail riding for my 10th bday and i got to ride a leopard appaloosa named popcorn. I was never able to afford professional lessons until I was older and once I moved out on my own I was able to save (aka sell everything i owned and saved for) and got my first horse. I was really lucky to be able to work and board her for free but it's sadly such an expensive hobby. I really love that horse games can connect people to horses and have experiences they normally couldn't because of whatever reason.

We get a certain amount of money every month that would be enough for lessons sometimes, but in the winter it is a bit difficult to ride a bike to the nearest stable, which is 5 kilometers away. My parents also hate horses and the whole hobby🙁 We will turn 18 this year and we could go to work, but we are both really shy and we don't like being with other people and everything feels really difficult😖

they have done a lot to improve their game which I love all the breeds and animations but I hate it's such a pay to play. Lifetime star rider is really the only way to play and enjoy the game and it's just kinda heavy based on quests that are monotonous to me. I hate how horses costs star coins. I just am not a fan of their monetization stratagies. BUT I love the community itself and all they have done to upgrade and improve it. ^-^
