one tip - before the fight, charge up your attack. lock target on him and start running up to him. the second his name placard shows at the bottom of the screen, release the attack and it will time perfectly to strike him when he swoops toward you

I was so dumb. After beating this guy I realised that it would be so easy if I just equipped the fan instead of the needle as the vessel. I even knew the story of the plantain fan making the fire of the mountain stop. I felt dumb. Very dumb for not having it. It took me 3 tried which could have been done in just 1

[The easiest way to kill him] is to take a spell to increase strength at the expense of mana (Spell Binder), take everything to increase crit and damage, >>>and stand on the stone, which is on the right

About the same way found to kill the scorpion king, only there Pillar Stance and you need to hide behind a tree near the house. The main thing is to mark the target so that it hits in the right direction.

OMG ok now this may be a cheap Way to defeat him but at this point i dont really Care as i know i would of done it Eventually. Now This is what to do. Walk to him to summon the fight where u can see his health bar. Then quickly run back and theres a glitch where theres no barrier. and you can run back into the forrest. Now to your left are some rocks. Stay up there and use your Charged up Thrust attack till hes done, quicky run back onto the Rock if u fall. But this worked for me 😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉

Your guide certainly helped. Thank you for the work you put into it. That being said, I thought this has been the most ridiculous and obnoxious boss fight so far. Some of it seemed like they just made manufactured difficulty for the sake of it rather than making a real challenge. I beat him, but I feel like at times devs are just looking for cheap ways to create difficulty.

After losing all night, came here, beat him on the 3rd try. I upgraded to a different gourd with 4 soaks, picked a stronger staff, upgraded the centipede stuff and wore that, and switched to macaque chief transformation which helped a lot and most importantly of all, USING THE TORNADO AS SOON AS HE GOT IN RED MODE…

To anyone who is having trouble I found using a fully upgraded thrust stance helped me a lot especially when executing heavy attacks. You can hit from further away and be bounced back as well. A huge benefit it’s how I finally beat him

yo bro he do be cheesing but if u jus save ur spells like pluck of many until the second phase of the red ring of fire then use the plantain fan then jump him using pluck of many, i sorta tried to max out mana so i had enough for the end phase cus i was using cloud step and immobilize spells to get damage in and tried only thrust to stagger him for more damage, the transformation spells dont matter much as long as they deal damage cus i used the wandering wright and red tiles and beat him first try today but i will say i lost like twice but super close yesterday, jus saying some bosses are cheese but if u can plan around ur mana, health, stamina, spells, and drinks then ur fine

Wtf, I used the fan and it didn't even stagger him. In another attempt, I jumped towards him for what would have been the killing blow and got killed by his ground electricity while in mid-air... I'm starting to notice a trend with the bosses in this game; it's impossible to organically react to many of their attacks. You absolutely need to memorize the timing or else you're screwed. It's kind of annoying.

Thanks for the guide dude, I had a different armor but could use your tips and invest sparks where counted most. BTW, I used Septenary Heartfire Pill in the last phase fight, but it seems that is not working as supposed, resets Cooldown for all spell, just for transformation. Though may be enough, I took Inspector dawn without it.

I finally beat it. Monkey was really hard to find a good time to use long enough to get the frost out because he spams.wheel mode all day. Either way i used your build and beat this guy. Hes one of like 5 bosses i give 2 middle fingers to after finally beating. What a rush.

I also found poison to be really effective on him. I almost got him after hours of trying different things. Tried poison once and nearly got him, didn't because I used fan way too early.

He kills my Pluck of Many in the first 5 seconds. If not with first volley of knives the second which he pops less than 5 seconds after. I figured I would run away from group so he targets me with first set of PoK but less than 5 seconds he unleashes a second one wiping them out & we haven't even hit him yet. He goes to the farthest point of the arena after first volley then unleashes second volley. So frustrating.

Struggling with this one, though I am higher lvl (104). All secrets and all Bosses to this point, so I have bull armor and Bishu beast staff (105 p 10%crit). Though its not my power I am way over powered for this and have almost 2 sets of mythical gear. Bronze and Bull. Though its like you said "don't let it get under your skin", well sir (unless you identify as something else, like a pumpkin), it has gotten under skin.

I don't understand one thing, if you use poison armor, why don't you use it xD, I played almost the entire game using this set, and the most important element is putting poison on the opponent, but I may not know ^^

You will deal less damage with a poison based weapon than this one, so it really isnt worth it. Scorpion lord is a good choice
