+The Elevator Daily Actually Speedy and the Brown Rocket go at a max speed of 9 ft/min. However, although it may serve 5 floors and has a humongous hydraulic engine, this elevator only goes 25 ft/min. So, if we were to test drive all 3 at once IN THE SAME SHAFT AT THE SAME TIME FOR ONE MIN, the freighter would beat Speedy by 17 ft and the Brown Rocket by 16 ft. Pathetic!

***** One thing I know for sure that elevator goes SLOWER than 50 ft/min. I'd say about 25-30 ft/minute at fastest. Come on! Hydraulic elevators can go up to 200 ft/min! At least make it go 125-150 instead of 30!

WestCoast Elevators Me too. The slowest elevator I've been on went about 50 ft/min at the minimum speed and it was somewhere in Georgia but I don't know. I've also been on some hydraulic elevators that went 200 ft/minute. I loved hydraulic elevators until my horrible experience at sears where I almost got stuck it was in my local mall. It took 30 seconds just to go down to the first floor then another 20 to level. I've been on a 200 ft/min KONE ecodisc 3x on a family trip and it was at least 6x as fast as that

Transport Elevation Probably doesn't use that much oil. But this thing needs to go at least 75 ft/min because most malls usually have that speed as the standard. Some malls have 125 ft/min as the standard.
