One surprise on this new G05 - it’s now a mild hybrid. There’s a small second battery that’s charged during brake deceleration. It’s connected to a 48-volt electric motor that runs all vehicle electronics. So no engine load and makes it more efficient. Also gives an 11-hp boost upon acceleration. Cool!
