Sadly, the models sold here don’t have any of the safety features or luxury features that you get in other countries. No adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, or sun roof. It’s basically a “poverty pack” spec X5, with an M appearance package. It’s also made in the USA like all X5s. BMW does have a good warranty here, which is probably why they only have stripped down models here because it would cost the importer and dealers a lot to repair the air suspension etc on warranty. I wish they’d actually bring in models with the features that they have in other markets, because at over $100k USD it’s ridiculous to spend that on a base model with an appearance pack and different alloys. It’s not an “M” car, it just looks like one. Sure, they drive well, but other brands are getting pretty close, and offer more, for much less money.

And they only have it in Black Leather and metal trim. Best to buy/order from Grey Market.

The 2023 BMW iX3 is the first of four EVs in the Philippines this year. Come January 23, the exact launch of an electric version of X3. This is followed by 2023 Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 3 days later (January 26).

Reygan, the batches imported and sold up to 1H 2021 came with full luxury convenience options, e.g. LED fog lights, soft-close doors, adaptive drive mode, luggage compartment package (auto tonneau cover), park assist, hands-free tailgate. Sadly, due to worldwide chip supply constraints, most of these options were deleted after Jul 2021. And replaced by M-Sport variant but sold at same 5.99m price. Still, the G05 has been transformed into a luxury SAV, albeit a cheaper version of the Range Rover.

No, your not paying just for the badge. Owned F15 2017 30D M sport here in NZ. I loved this car❤❤

the xDrive30D is all you really need, you get approx 950-1000km per tank with the 6 cyl diesel, i dont think the petrol engine will get close to that. however i dont like how bmw have a subscription system for some of its electronic services... at these prices, these services should be permanently on the car... the other issue i have with the G05 X5 is the OEM tyres, im in Australia, my G05 came with bridgestone alenza 001 fun flats, they are good, however they dont last very long, approx 20,000-25,000kms before you will need to change them, and the brigdestone alenza tyres are not cheap. those are the only things i really dont like about the G05 model.... other then that, the car itself and the servicing with bmw have been outstanding. id recommend the G05 to anyone that needs an suv, it has the comfort, the tech, and the power you need everyday... the auto drive function is great while in traffic

It's already a mild hybrid since 2021 model. There's a small 2nd battery that drives an electric motor. Still 265hp though.

It is a bit 'tagtaggy' on uneven roads like EDSA, but so is my Miata so it's really the M-sport suspension tuning.
