It was interesting for me to see a dobie with a undocked tail and natural ears. I know that Britain has outlawed docking and cropping. It would take me a while to get used to the changed appearance of undocked and uncropped breeds. Congratulations to the Lagotto. Nice to see a relatively obscure breed win big for a change. 😊

Still haven't seen the toy and working groups judged. And unfortunately I couldn't avoid seeing who won BIS. Really disappointing that Crufts couldn't manage to upload ALL the group judging!

All won best of breed , & group, are perfect examples of their breed. Comes down to showmanship, terriers , & poodles always spunky showers. , but th. logotto owned it !!

Whoo!! There's a nice surprise. =D Way to go. I was hoping for the Lagotto, Wolfhound, or Poodle. Unfortunately, the full 12-hr Days 3+4 videos are blocked "on copyright grounds" by the very evil WMG. That blows, I wanted to see everything else; be nice if they could reupload. (The Toy group also wasn't added individually.) I was interrupted watching BIS in "Day 4" and forget where I'd been in Day 3. :/

Over all I found this show disappointing. The breeds put up in groups and BIS were for the most part quite puzzling. What was worse was whoever was posting the videos did a poor job of doing so, many were mislabeled and in a haphazard order. Last but not least, poor old Frank may need to retire from presenting. He flubbed so many times. In explaining the Japanese Chin originated in China, he made the point by stating the Japanese Empress presented the dog to China as a gift. Then during the final BIS judging, as the Wire Fox Terrier came into the ring, Frank described it as "smart as a box of paint". I played it back a few times to be sure I hadn't misheard. I may be from the U.S. but that sure sounds like an insult to me. Frank, give it up! 🙄

I think it’s a pretty dog but I was really confused about the curly tail worn over the back. I don’t think that’s breed standard? (I‘m against docking, but a natural tail should not look like that.)

The tail is the least of its issues, the way the dog moves is completely wrong it's supposed to have a rotary action. It shouldn't move like a bulldog

Skoda has Czech roots and was bought by a German company. Why shouldn't a German company be allowed to sponsor? In Great Britain, there are hardly any solvent companies left that have the necessary money for sponsoring. Keyword Brexit 😢

You need to elaborate on your issue. Kennel clubs are international organizations that need finical support from an array of organizations both big and small. It is incredibly naïve of you to believe that only British companies can and should sponsor an event with international representation. Should all of the dogs only come from British owners, breeders, professional handlers with zero imported blood lines?

It breaks my heart to see the once confident agile happy German shepherd dog is now a dog that can’t stand, walking and trotting in an unnatural way. Crufts has ruined many breeds, and it is about time it got its act together and put the dogs health and needs first. Lay off the spaniel breed, leave it alone, short nosed dogs also have man made health problem , I could go on !
