Best Intercooler for New Civic Type R | PRL Motorsports | Ososik

Time to cool things down in the Civic Type R!
‪@PRLMotorsports‬ FL5 Intercooler upgrade is one upgrade we definitely needed for the type of racing we will be doing. Doing back to back test to see its true performance difference, we were able to get huge gains! We used the Powermetric.net stage 0.91 tune to keep things consistent. Now that we know what a simple install does, lets turn it up to see the true potential of these new parts.

I need my FL5 dyno'd I have 4" catless downpipe and PRL intercooler just cant find any good tuners in Miami Fl. Let me know if you guys can be of any assistance on getting the car tuned. Currently im at 344 WHP but im not tuned on my mods.

Is front pipe next? I’ve heard downpipe/frontpipe combo guve you bigger gains than changing the exhaust. Also, what do you think of doing muffler deletes with upgraded DP/FP?

From our 10th gen test the front pipe didn't even do anything (until a certain point). Biggest gains are the DP.

@@thefoatmedia does the FL5 have the same issue with FK8 where the exhaust part was downsized, so most exhaust weren’t a full 3” exhaust? If it’s the same, then the FL5 will also need thst front pipe to make it into a 3” exhause from the downpipe on. But nonetheless, DP does give the best power!

@@jonathanjimenez-cruz7570 Yes, it was fixed like 2 weeks after it blew. It took us a bit to get some of the misc parts from Honda but we got the new block the next day after it blew. We shared updates etc on our IG. (@Ososik) We do have some videos to finish editing for the channel though.
