you should really try this with uv light instead because that’s what actually causes the yellowing. i’ve been searching everywhere for an answer to the age old question of which case actually doesn’t turn yellow :,)

It would be interesting to test with UV lights - that would be trickier to pull off (and coffee is cheaper). I did research which found (from multiple sources) that while UV is one of the contributing factors, others are moisture and dirt (usually from hands). So, this test is aimed more at what comes from handling the case. Based on my test and also experiences with older cases that claimed to not to yellow you need a case that’s less porous, so the ones that do best are harder material (like Mous, Rhino, and Caseitify). Usually all PC cases, I.e. hard plastic, don’t go yellow.

Cases mostly turn yellow from UV light in the sun, so you just admitted that you never go outside 😂

A random story: I was watching this story today and travelling in a bus and the driver suddenly breaked and I hit my face to the back of the seat infront of me It did hurt and the pain was there for about 2 hours and later when I came home I thought it wouldn't hurt anymore but during washing my face it did hurt and a small part became red, thank Hod it wasn't something serious and the red part will go away soon

No. I only tested clear cases that claimed to not yellow. The Supcase doesn’t claim it, so I didn’t test it. Looking at it and knowing what it’s like from using it, the material is likely to yellow over time.

@@shorockyuken5761 If your case is a softer, more porous material (like the ones that yellowed in this video) they’ll absorb oils, sweat, dirt from hands. Yea, you could wash it, but I don’t know anyone who washes their case frequently
