Cuz they smoke opium with two skewers. They heat one of the skewers and stick that to the other one which is attached with opium. Just like playing a violin.

The Iranian series has been so wonderful. Halwa looks amazing!! Small amounts because its so sweet but its a decadent sweet for sure :) Watching it being made is really interesting. Davidsbeenhere: First of all I am happy to see that Mr Taster is alright now. I was worried when I saw his face. Bells palsy is a paralysis of the face, it's not a stroke. So thank God it wasn't anything more serious and that he is well now. As for the video, not much history but I see we are back to food. That's ok. Mix it up a bit. The food itself looks healthy since everything is home made and not mixed with byproducts. I still can't get over the lavash bread. I swear I would have mistaken it for a tea towel. The other one reminds me of a soft dosa. I will pass on all the sweets though. Too much sugar and syrup. Once again it proves that you can't always believe what you hear. The people are so nice and welcoming and generous as well. So on to the next video. In the meantime, you know what I always say, God bless you and your family and I hope everyone is well.❤️🙏🕊️🇹🇹🇨🇦

18:36 feels like non-veg version of dosa which is a food from southern India which is veg but this feel more muglai style bread with different curries & honey with cheese. Sonpadi they call sohan. We make white groud and carrot hawla in ghee in Iran they call it chikki as halwa. So much similarities. Some may have to Google for context.
