Cine El doesnt have ISO, that mode have just Two EI base settings 800EI and 12,800EI if you change it, it change only lut brightness.

Flexible iso. Idk why you’re doing comparisons of 800-3200 iso when you’re saying you’re using cine ei… that only applies to flexible iso. Not exposure index. You’re gonna start confusing people 😂

I usually meter mine to be 0-1 stops over in camera. At the base ISO's, this usually produces a very clean result.

Hey Matt, I use a GH5. I've noticed fixed pattern noise in the shadows which is a common issue. My questions is; even thought the clients don't care or can't see it, if the videographer doesn't like the images they're getting, do you think it negatively affects the way they work? - Sydney Sider Here -

Have you tried using a de-noiser plugin to see if helps correct the problem? Even if your clients don't see it, I still think trying to achieve the best quality results is important. A fixed pattern noise issue does sound frustrating though...
