If you do the thermal mod by putting a thermal pad that bridges the gap between the heatsink and the backplate it will never thermal throttle and keep its temperature lower.

I love the Speed Editor when it works! Sadly, most of the time, it doesn't. It's completely random if it will work on any given day. Sometimes it works even wirelessly, and sometimes it doesn't work at all. I know the unit must not be defective because sometimes it works. I have these days when I load up something to Resolve, and I see lights are on my Speed Editor, I scroll the jog wheel, and IT WORKS! Immediately I have to find something to edit because the freaking thing decided randomly to work today and even wirelessly! It's a great piece of gear when it works. I would love it to work whenever I need it to.

You should've included battery performance and low light performance, as 4k tends to compress the noise which is helpful, but seeing how it works would've been great.

I haven't been using zoom for over 10 15 years now, and yes the cheaper models do have problems with plastic, lots of them have had the problem to be careful with the plastic. Good thing though I did lose some plastic pieces on one of my zoom and they replaced the battery lid for free so cool. My main goal is to be able to have a small unit to record small short podcast for audio clips

Exact same issue on the XT30. This is stopping me from firmware upgrade. The joystick wont move up and that's needed for selecting "ok" during firmware upgrade.

I have the opposite problem, I want to remove the sequence and just use the images...

A couple of other options for video out w/ video capture adapter: 1) use a Steam Deck, 2) use a Raspberry Pi. This is EXACTLY the video I was looking for - especially with the focus being to revive the HV40 with existing materials. I may woodwork and 3d print a mounting rig. Thank you!

My keyboard stopped working today. Both USB and Bluetooth connections are not functioning. Although the Control Panel App recognizes the connection, Davinci does not. The Bluetooth is connected to the Windows Bluetooth settings, but the keyboard buttons do not light up when Resolve starts, and no input commands work. I have already tried resetting the keyboard, installing an older version of Resolve, replacing the USB C cable and port, and adding exceptions to the firewall. The weird thing is that it works perfectly fine with my Windows laptop. If anyone knows a workaround, please let me know.

I LOVE these cameras. I have four of them and just got another one off ebay. These cameras are awesome!!!! The firewire is so easy to get video onto the computer.

Mine doesn't work too 😑 Edit now it's working, but only after connecting it serval times via Bluetooth. As soon i plug in the USB cable it doesn't work anymore. I will try another USB cable

Um, I watched this video, and it was not helpful. I found that the problem was the naming of my files. Unless they are named with a nice clear sequence trailer, 009, 010 etc, rather than 9, 10, the sequencer quietly failed. So if this doesn't work, carefully check your file naming.
