Yea, I was born in 82, I still enjoy them, low budget yes, but also fantastic for the budgets. TCM original is still creepy imo, the music alone. I remember as a kid I'd stay at my grandmother's occasionally and she would rent movies or I'd watch some she had. Her brother or something had fancy satellite and recorded movies on HBO. She played one and it was Texas Chainsaw Hookers 😂 she's great. Cheers

I truly love the Friday the 13th movies (as well as most of the slasher flicks of the 80's) but besides Jason's ability to clean up a kill scene (as mentioned many times in the comments below) he just seems to be needlessly creative with the deaths. The second person on this clip could have easily been killed in the shower (and clean up would be a breeze!) but no, he places the corpse above her bed and waits for her to chill with a magazine and even then waits longer till she notices the dead body. It makes for fun horror but it seems a little too contrived. I would rather think that Jason is a killer of convenience, even sometimes hiding bodies till the victims were too few to truly fight back but in my horror head I imagine this... Jason: OK, cleaned up the hall, she shouldn't notice a thing... now as long as the blood doesn't start dripping too soon, she shouldn't notice the body above her... this is going to be so cool!!! As soon as she notices the body, then I stab her....wait for it... wait for it.... and NOW! Damn, she must have been so surprised! Now where is that wheelchair kid?
