Dunno, my Expride was from the first generation, when Expride only came out it was long ago, and I think my a bit stiffer, maybe because it's 2 piece model.

When you put the Expride under load it was easy to see that it had a more moderate action than most of the AliExpress rods I have. Of the Ali rods you have used, which one comes closest to the C 610MB in action? I want to get one. If I remember correctly, you really liked the Lurestar Quick rod for jerkbaits but I thought it had a quite a bit faster action then the Expride.

Yeah the quick is close to the m wizard rod.. although good rods for the money they just don't have that true parabolic bend like the Expride.. I honestly think it's because of the 2 piece characteristics.. they just stiffen up a tad at the connection point.. I mean they'll work but they're not the same

Is there a 2 piece version of this. Also, what reel are you using that has a drag clicker?

Yes I believe if ordered from Japan there's a 2 piece and it's a Steez Limited but I added the clicker

Do you have any recommendations on a rod that’ll do 1/4 to 3/8 oz for a casting setup, an all rounder do everything rod. Split grip, and 2 piece, don’t mind if it’s a japan rod. Budget to high end?

A rod that has been recommended to me several times by subscribers but I haven't had time to get and check out would be the Phenix Feather rods on Tacklewarehouse.. they come in both one and two piece or the wizard rod from AliExpress that I just got... Mine was damaged in Shipping and I fixed it but it's solid around those weights and only $100 looks jus like a conquest rod
