I think it’s on your radar already but would love to see a step by step video for making your prop stick setup. I have a 2022 Outback and crab near Saint Michaels. Can’t wait to give trot lining from the kayak a shot. Really enjoy your videos! 👍

did you make your measuring device or buy it? if you bought it, where?

A friend of mine used to make them. He called it the Crabinator. I don't think you can find this exact one anymore, but I've seem something similar at local tackle shops. I did find this one online that looks very similar www.easternmarine.com/em-culler-multi-length.

Do you think you could trotline crab with a 10.5 foot kayak?

Yes. It should work. What model kayak is it?

@@TomyTekOutdoors PELICAN Catch 110 HyDryve Sit-on-Top Kayak or Mirage Passport 10.5 R Sit-On-Top Kayak with Paddle. I wasn't sure if there would be enough room for all the gear. It appears yours is a 12 foot or greater.

Either should work. You may have to use smaller containers and anchors. My kayak is 12' and has a lot of space. It will take some trial and error to work out all of the kinks.
