Thank you. There's nothing like fresh blue crabs for dinner. I've never tried crabbing in Delaware. I fish for Tog there this time of the year.

Nice video!! I crab a lot , Lost a few anchors tangled everything snagged so bad the line had to be cut , trips to the urgent care but those nice times make me try again I know that’s what keeps us all trying

Thank you. I've lost quite a few anchors prior to this. I haven't had to go to urgent care. Knock on wood. I really miss my center console when it comes to crabbing. In the wind, my cockpit area acts like a sail and it pushes my boat around. Only one end of the line was in the wind, so I should have ran it the other way. Lesson learned.

@@TomyTekOutdoors oh no. I’ve thought about getting a C-hawk set up similar to how your boat is to run a line. Dual steering. Don’t like to hear that the cabin catches the wind but I can see that.

@@brandoncrawford2438 I looked at a few C-Hawks before I bought my Maycraft. They are nice boats. A second steering station would help a lot. I got a quote to have one installed, but it got really expensive. I'm looking at an alternative or I'm going to figure out how to install it myself. It's kind of a give and take with the cabin. It's great to have, but can push you around in the wind. I love having the cabin when fishing in colder months and the privacy for a bathroom is great for my wife and daughter. It's a challenge to crab from without a second station. I'll figure something out or just get used to it over time. I just wish I had more time to get out there. I'll make a video soon showing the setup on my boat. Let me know if there is anything specific that you would like to see. Thanks for watching.

Hey ya had fun with the family. I just wanted to say your line in my opinion is set up about perfect , bait spacing on most have them way to close and to many. When there like yours ya have better chances of catching more n bigger crabs. Just a compliment enjoyed the video

Thank you. I actually made this line myself. I space my snood 5-6ft a part. On my old line I put them about 4ft a part and I spent a lot more time baiting and unbaiting. It was also pretty hectic when crabs were running good. The spacing I have on this line works great for us as you mentioned. Thanks for watching.

Nice video! Are you using chicken for bait? If not what do you use? Thank you!

I use chicken necks most of the time. I use razor clams as well, but they are a lot more work to bait and unbait.

I'm using a 600' trotline in this video. I do have another 600' line that I can clip to this and it will make it 1200' total. I'm using chicken necks for bait.

may I know what your speed is? is it trolling motor? I always feel that gas motor is a bit too fast.

I was using my outboard. I just shift in and out of gear. I don't pay attention to the speed on my gauges. I'll check on my next to and let you know. It was windy that day and was very challenging. You can slow down your boat by throwing a bucket out back. Thanks for watching.
