I have been using the DasKeyboard for years as using butterfly keys get boring to use after a while. However it takes up two old school USB slots, via an adaptor, to connect to the Mac as it's all USB 4 these days. So your video was super useful to start the search for a replacement, thank you!

I LOVE typing! I took a secretarial course in a business school (yes, that long ago - 1965) and could type 130 words a minute WITHOUT errors! LOL! I eventually joined the USAF but after having a few typing jobs, I did NOT tell them I could even type! I've had several typewriters but after we had computers, I got rid of the typewriters. I missed my typing and finally found a little portable electric typewriter at a thrift store for $5.00 USD! What I love about a real typewriter is the noise of the keys, and, at the end of a line, the bell dings and I then hit the carriage return and throw the carriage back to the beginning of the next line. It is odd how just having the two sheets of paper twisted around the platten and no thought of what to say, beyond the old, Every good boy does fine and Now is the time for every good men to come to the aid of his country. In a few lines, I am coming up with interesting things that would not have occurred with my computer!

Love it! I have two oon (?) walmart brand keyboards that are for the most part silent. When i use my laptop keyboard or the gaming one for my desktop I sound like a sniper hitting the keys where I tend to type fast. So I needed a somewhat silent and not super expensive option and best of all its small so it takes up less room!

I've found that I absolutely need a keyboard with a number pad. I have one that is a full 104-key keyboard that has the Astrolokeys keycaps, and then a 1800/96-key Keynovo (which I think is also Yunzii, so same brand as your typewriter). It's blue and cute! Those are my two main ones. The full 104 key is a brown tactile switch so it is clicky, and the keynovo is a linear switch so it's much more thunky. I switch between based on if I want clacky or thunky key sounds. I also have a compact one I keep on my nightstand in case I want to plug it into my phone when my hands are too cold to register on it. The last keyboard I have is a very old Dell keyboard from 1998 that doesn't work, but my cat doesn't need to know that. For some reason, my cat is obsessed with sleeping on keyboards. So, I keep that one on my desk for him to sleep on so he isn't trying to sleep on the actual keyboard when I am typing.

It’s such a good keyboard! The chair was one my husband got at work and is a plain office chair with a mesh back. But I might be getting a gaming chair soon!
