@@hipersonic999 When playing normally Generations, I believe has a faster game 'engine' but Unleashed's level design has many more moments that make the game feel faster than it actually is. Generations also slows itself down much more at times. In a speedrun with all the bugs and exploits it is hard to say, probably level dependent but it is probably Unleashed that is faster. As for the games after that I couldn't tell you they kind of sucked eggs.

Well, do you see here how he jumped off not homing to the qte spring? Not only for a little bit of second but the main reason is to entering in FULL 3D that's why he was able to do it. However if hit the qte spring he would automatically entering with 2D control.

@@Taxidii Hello QTE stands for Quick Time Event, I´m not into speedrun things myself but here´s the explanation to what happened: Essentially on minute; 1:37 our Speedruner skipped those blue trampolines that are used to start those Quick Time Events where Sonic himself jumps into different spots and you have to press 1 button at a time that are shown into the screen so you can move further on the stage. Since he skipped that mandatory function for the stage to go on in normal circunstances, it resulted the stage to not load properly, so the game didn´t force Sonic to go in FULL 2D mode, it kept the Full 3D, so he was able to burst that high ground on the watterfall. I hope this helps

What inputs do you have to do to skip the first 2D part? I think you have to move the joystick a little bit to the right but I'm not sure how to do it properly

Maybe it could if you stop using brake jump glitch by holding completely right or maybe you could stomp early or boost I guess well point is just trying to hold right completely and you'll slow down you probably almost instantly slow down

Completely up and then slowly move to the right while going up completely and once you start moving you'll have to have the boost gauge like I mean the speed gauge to be one Blue block or just a faded Blue block and that's just one and then you have to boost and do a stomp and then jump basically like them speed but you can't do it in 3D so you'll have to do it d speed which is basically the same thing but you have to hold up and then slowly go right until you start walking or just one Blue block on the speed gauge

And break jump glitch can basically mostly only be activated by even the slightest camera change I don't think you can do it completely flat but if it works then I think that's good because only break some glitch can be affected with more speed like thousands bits of speed with brake jump glitch rather than just regular d speed and break some glitch can also go from 2D to 3D or MC can go to break jump glitch in 3D to 2D

And you have to hold the same angle the entire time with the brakes jump glitch/M-speed
