Best Landscape Photography Camera Bag | Shimoda Action X30 Review

The ‪@ShimodaDesigns‬ Action X30 is my favorite landscape and adventure photography bag. It comfortably carries camera gear and additional gear on long day hikes and outings. The bag can also carry a water bottle outside the pack, which is important for my use case. This has been my primary camera bag for daily use and outings for over a year.

Did you consider the Shimoda Explore 30 v2? I believe it is lighter than the Action x30

Between Action Pack Athlete bag and Shimoda X30, which one do you prefer?

Definitely the Shimoda. I liked the Atlas Athelstan but my biggest long-term complaint is the camera storage area is very shallow and it was a tight squeeze to fit larger mirrorless bodies and lenses into. I like the flexibility of the Shimoda system.

I was about to get Shimoda Action X30 anyway, but still was wondering about Atlas Pack Athletic bag as the web site was alluding to an upcoming sale ( Black Friday ). Now I can comfortably just go with Shimoda and not look back. Shimoda is also over $100 less than Athlete Pack, which helps a lot for me anwyay. Thank you 11
