I tried the Dell XPS 13 Plus and it runs way too hot! Not to mention all the quality control issues that people have reported. For me the Lenovo Slim Pro 9i offers exceptional value. I was able to get it at Costco for $1,499.

funny thing is, zenbook 14x has a variant that noone talks about - non pro with i9 13 gen, 3050, 32gb ram, basically same hardware as 14 pro, just no touch screen (at least not on mine), no dial pad which is a plus for because i would accidentally activate it. The best thing is - it's considerably cheaper than pro, but is very similiar, hands down the BEST bang for the buck i ever got

Great video! I bought the Lenovo Yoga 9i Gen 8 a couple months ago and I absolutely love it. It's turned me into a Lenovo fanboy for sure. The only thing I don't enjoy is that the fans always seem to be running. Moreso when I have it connected to power, which I often do, but I just haven't gotten used to that yet, coming from an older Macbook Pro 13 where the fans seemed a lot quieter, at least before the battery issues began. Still, probably my favorite computer I have ever owned and the protection plans Lenovo have seem to be phenomenal for the price. Thanks for the always great content!

The Lenovo yoga pro 9i looks like a great laptop, but I am worried about the battery life as I have heard it’s very bad. I am looking for a content creator laptop. What was your experience with the battery life? What is your opinion about the legion slim 7i in comparison as well?
@ethelromero29210 ай бұрын
I am glad to see my lenovo yoga 9i gen 8. It is a great laptop. The battery lasts around 5 hours. The fan noise really doesn’t bother me, it is not often. I feel 5 hours battery is decent. At the end of the day is a laptop, not a tablet. If you travel, everywhere you go, there is a connection, even in the airplane. It is my everyday laptop. In my opinion it is a very good deal, especially if you find it on sale. I bought mine for $999.99 at BestBuy, right before Black Friday.

I appreciate the serviceability section but do you really think the general purpose, 13 inch portable and business travel laptops are better than the Framework? I would have put all 3 of those sections with any Zen 4 laptops, not necessarily the framework (due to oled, maybe lower weight, etc) but intel gets too hot and it causes too much fan noise. At least in my experience. My partner has the framework and I have heard the fan only twice in 2 months, and she has an intel work laptop and it has fan noise even on idle, on a -U processor which should be only 15W but realistically uses 40W+ during turbo boosts because it's too slow without a lot of power...

lol, you pay around 1300€ (tax included) for the Zenbook14x (i5-13500H model). Tax for tech is 19% in Germany. 699$ ~ 635€ if you add up 19% on top of that, we should be paying between 755-850€ max! We are getting scammed!

I’m looking for a laptop that does everything including split screen to work on multiple things at once. I want a lap top that has a slot for SD cards for photography as well as the one for fast transfer between hardware. I don’t want to have to be buying extra things to carry around with me for extra usb ports ect. Obviously one with the pen for arts and design. Work projects ect. The two fans, good battery as I’ll be using it allot and all day. Can you tell me what would be the best to purchase please. All these laptops have slight differences so I figure it’s easier to just ask you 😅. Also do you feel it’s better to get a laptop that can be modified considering every year they’re upgrading and bringing out new latops ect. I’m not a computer enthusiast and I’ll be buying one online and don’t want to purchase something that doesn’t have everything I want and need.

So GLAD you aren't talking about MBs. Overpriced and missing basic features (no touch screen, pen support, finger print sensor, 2-in-1 design, etc.). They are poorly built which is why class-action law suits are filed them (green screen, cracked screen, connectivity, thermal throttling, keyboards, etc.).

Very informative video! I create corporate digital courses using Articulate 360 and Camtasia. Overall the courses are simplistic with light video editing, but that could change in the future. When I work from home, I connect my work-issued Thinkpad T14 to two external monitors (27" MSI Optix MAG270CR and Samsung C32F391), a Logitech MX keyboard, Logitech 1080p external camera, and MX Master 3S mouse. I've decided to buy a laptop for personal and work use. The T14 is lagging because of cybersecurity software and sites are being blocked. My previous work computer was a Yoga 12 and I enjoyed using it. I like the Lenovo Thinkpads, but I'm not sure if there is a 2-in-1 model that's powerful enough to handle the load of running both programs at the same time. Camtasia is a memory hog and my T14 lags when editing a large video. Would a discrete GPU resolve that issue? Is 16GB of ram enough? I prefer to buy a 13" 2-in-1, but will get a 14" if there isn't one that meets my needs. What do you recommend?
