Best lav microphone for filmmaking? Sennheiser AVX testing.

I got caught out recently on a job when the client insisted on wireless lav's. Usually I use record lav mics Internally and sync in post. Never an issue, but as mentions, my client couldn't believe I did that and insisted on wireless lavs. Since I've been researching the different pro options and stumbled across your channel. I have to say how much of a breath of fresh air it is to hear someone on KZbin admit they aren't an expert on the subject and they are just giving their own opinion. Its early days for your channel but I would like to hear more. You earned my sub.

@@DarrenNaylor 9 times out of 10 the channels with huge followings can’t be trusted with their reviews because they never have any negative comments on things even when we all know they aren’t flawless. I’d be keen to hear you thoughts on the Sennheiser AVX now you’ve had a bit more use of the kit. I’m not desperate to purchase one but it’s the front runner in my mind atm especially as someone who solo shoots almost everything.

Ya, I hear you. Many are also being paid to talk about products so they may be biased. I'll do the follow up I mentioned but if you watch my recent video titled $5,000 For This Painting I'm using it there and have just learned how to hide it without sound issues and how to edit better in post. I'm really happy with how it sounds and ease of use so far. @@sylvestrisstudios

You don’t get 32bit over wireless. Your transmitter is sending. 24bit. If it was wireless 32bit you’d be paying a loooooot more. I think there’s only one system currently sending wireless 32bit. Only your wired boom will get 32bit
