What a great simple video. Man this was so informative. I honestly wasn’t aware that a wifi system was thing. I immediately went online and found the one for my yard. And went to buy it at the store. Wow! Super impressed.

Reel Low! Being just south of you (in SMTX) I have enjoyed seeing your past videos on Bermuda and what has worked for you in this scorching hot area. Unfortunately I cannot go as "reel low" as you for a number of reasons (1/2 acre, leveling issues, no automated irrigation and so on)... but I do try to go low to encourage the bermuda to thicken up and fertilize regularly according to A&M/proper care. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience (despite not being the "norm") and keep putting out great content relative to central TX / bermuda lawns.

Thanks for watching! Mowing below an inch is tough with a big lawn. Although I would love a bigger lawn, a small lawn has its perks as well.

South Texas Bermuda, here. I can’t, for the life of me get my yard that green. I’ve been using the N-Ext pack with little avail and man, I am jealous. Great looking yard.

First of all, your lawn looks perfect and extremely well manicured. I’m new here and it looks like you’re in Florida. Also, what type of grass of do you have? I have Bermuda and way too many weeds and I’m on the Oklahoma/Arkansas border; zone 7a. I subscribed and I’m sure I can use some of your experience for improving my lawn. Thanks for your videos…

What Sprinkler Controller are you using? I'm looking to purchase one like yours that you can water multiple times in the morning to get down 1/2" of water.

Great video. Do you water the same all season? We’re have temps above 100 degrees here and AZ so I’m wondering if I need 1.5”.
@reellowbermuda87864 жыл бұрын
No, I water less in the spring but still 1” in the summer. We had over 60 days above 100 degrees last summer and 1” did the job.

I like the 2 trees in your front lawn. What are they and how big do they get? Thanks
@reellowbermuda87864 жыл бұрын
They are Live Oak. They get huge but grow very slowly.

I have the same kind of grass strip between the sidewalk and the street with a drip irrigation system buried. I have no idea how much water gets put into the grass from the drip but I run it for about 30 minutes a week. It looks fine for now but I’m curious how long you run the drip on that section?
@reellowbermuda87864 жыл бұрын
So my drip lines cover that front strip plus my front landscape beds. I have to be careful not to give the plants too much water, so that limits how much the grass gets on that front strip. I usually do about 12 minutes twice a week max

Hi brother, do you have a professional install irrigation system or is just a normal underground system? Thanks for sharing.

Mine was put in by the builder. Just a normal system

Not sure which controller you have. I have the hunter pro-c and there’s a secret setting called cycle and soak. I have used it for a few years. Exactly what you have mentioned but done automatically. Great in-depth video.

My wife said “hell no” to tuna cans in our yard. Plus, I would have to go on a crash course diet of to get enough tuna cans to measure water. The measuring cups you show just arrived from Amazon yesterday! This video is extremely very good! Everyone kept telling me to “put down 1 inch a week”. This video breaks it down awesome...even I understand! Thanks!

How do you change your watering for when restricted to one day a week during summer droughts?
@reellowbermuda87864 жыл бұрын
Luckily we haven’t had to go to once a week, but if we did, I would water the heck out of it that one day. Probably four times that morning and four times that evening.
