Best LED Light Whips Under $100!

There are tons of LED Light Whips to choose from for your ATV or Side by Side. The problem is, many of the less expensive ones are terrible. So we have weeded through the haze and found the 3 Best LED Light Whip options for under $100.

LED Light whips can be a fun accessory for your UTV or ATV, but finding a good one can be tough. Especially if you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars. There are a few specific things to pay attention for when shopping for a new led whip, but if you don't want to weed through dozens of them, just check out the three we reviewed in this video.
Things to consider when purchasing a new LED Light Whip:
1. Quick disconnect: DO NOT get a light whip without a quick disconnect option, you will end up taking it off your ATV or Side by Side more than you realize.
2. Waterproof: Ensure it has some sort of waterproof rating. The most common out there right now have an IP67 rating. This generally means it is waterproof as long as it is not left deep underwater for extended periods of time.
3. Build Quality: This one is especially important to pay attention too when getting a less expensive led light whip for your UTV or ATV. Make sure you check out the reviews and make sure they are at least somewhat current reviews.
4. Design: Do you want a spiral effect? Do you want a certain length or LED options? If so, make sure the one you are looking at includes them. Somewhere in the description, it should give you at least an idea of the types of light patterns the whip can do.

@@randykennell9944 mine dont, I saw an advertisement for Grandmas whips that even had a brake light feature. Hit your brake and the whip lit up red until you let off your brake and it went back to whatever you had it doing. Maybe they have the flashing disco beat thing?

I use an electric wheelchair. I've been in parking lots and while crossing crosswalks. I need 2 of these lights. I would love to find a way to lower and raise them up and down for wheen I'm in my office or at home or in my van 🤔. Any ideas on which one to purchase and if we could have an adjustment part to not disconnect or to hold in hand or bend to fit... but to raise them when outside and lower when coming back inside. Under $100? Built my own using a bicycle whip, aquarium tubing, 16.5' LED strip, 1" shrink wrap, WD-40 and electrical tape. Add in some wire and it all might not exceed $30. Didn't add it all up. One color tho. Cool project, was fun.

There's no comparison between those. 5150 whips are MUCH higher quality. You pay for it though

my friend has a pair of 5150s i bought the adsafty , his whips have a higher quality magnetic quick disconnect the shrink wrap and shrink tube seem about the same quality but the creed leds on the 5150 have a resistor every 3 leds so it gives more output the ad safty has one but every 4 leds in comparison side by side i see about a 10% difference on light output in terms on modes both have a ton over 100 and the thing about his whips is that he can change them whenever he breaks one i have to pay $75 but overall i know what i pay for and they seem to last long without brightness degradation.

honestly i will never buy another light whip that is built inside a plastic tube. they all do the same thing in only a few months. they get moisture in them and then after being in the sun they get brittle and snap. EVERY DAMN TIME!
