The bike part is just insane. I think developers don't like kids, they don't want us to have fun. My big bro's friend beat the game tho, but it takes so much try and error... its just insane. But yeah, for more beat em up, you got the arcade game or battletoads&double dragon.

This game was heavily inspired by the arcade game - along with all the sensibilities that came along with that, including being torturous in terms of difficulty for no real reason.
@SuperArppis9 жыл бұрын
I have the same problem with games. I become way way too serious about doing well. I suppose I want to show off that I have been playing games all these years and it hasn't gone to waste... but in fact I think I have become poorer in video games. Atleast in some games, it's the fault of the "rating systems" they use. Grading you how well you did. Like the new Metal Gear Solid 5.
@whoisthisgit9 жыл бұрын
+SuperArppis Yeah, grading systems seem to only exist to make people feel less satisfied about completing difficult sections in games. It was actually one of the main reasons I decided not to buy Bayonetta 2, because getting Platinums in The Wonderful 101 drove me crazy.
@SuperArppis9 жыл бұрын
whoisthisgit Haha, I gave up trying to get the best score in games like Bayonetta and Devil May Cry. I wish there was some way to turn them off. Because I'd just like to enjoy the game without worrying about it too much. I still try my best to get all orbs and keep up the style meter in combat... but I'm not devastated if I don't get the best rank. For Metal Gear thou, I REAAALLY need to be without alerts and killing anyone. It's impulse I can't ignore! And it gets really annoying at times. :p
@CyborgSelZero9 жыл бұрын
+SuperArppis I agree with rating systems. At the moment I have a phase where I don't care much about my performance in games. This is sometimes in the way, when I play Co-Op games with friends, but I don't really care if we fail a level or not.
@SuperArppis9 жыл бұрын
CyborgSelZero Yeah, I ended up doing this mission where I needed to rescue these hostages. I died once, I alerted the enemies like 2 times. Fought my way trough it and didn't give a crap... still got A for some reason thou! Maybe I'll try to get the game S:d after I have finished it.
@ColiasPalaeno9 жыл бұрын
+SuperArppis The worst of all is when you Have been doing the same thing over and over again in a game and your thing works perfectly then somebody comes and says its not correct. Then you argue and get votekicked because you were "Trash for the team" TF2 Community can be dicks sometimes. That is why they invented a thing called voice chat off. I hate when there are stupid people on the game that just because they have more tours than you "Im talking about TF2 mann vs machine" mode but even if my strategy just works fine on MvM theres always somebody that can "Improve" it. Like once I was doing my thing. And a somebody came and said hey that is wrong you are supposed to place that sentry there. Then i placed the sentry there and then we failed, I asked to do what i was doing. They said no 4 Fails after. They said ok fine. Then i did what i was supposed to do. We won it straight flawlessely

I'd like Mos Eisley from Star Wars Battlefront 2 on Best Levels Ever. Why? On Instant Action mode, there's an exclusive mode for it that makes every single character one of the Heroes. Meaning, you can have a battle royale with General Grevious, Han Solo, Yoda and Darth Vader. It's absolutely euphoric running around as Yoda at the speed of sound, jumping over buildings and slamming downwards picking off targets.

The NES game has at least one beat 'em up section in each level along with the other gimmicks (well, most levels anyway. Stages 6 and 11 basically do away with it.) So does the second (Battletoads gameboy) and the third (Battletoads and Double Dragon). This one, by contrast, is much less consistent.

Oh hey, a BLE. I was hoping to see one soon. I don't think there is too much wrong with playing with efficiency. When you can casually tell how you mess up, the frustration levels drop. It's just a matter of not being too stoic as a side effect that one would want. Ya know, too often in my life have I been forced to be a lone wolf. At least now I understand why I've always been interested in girls even as a kid who never even heard of sex.

I have a suggestion for a creepy moment video for the git/lub lub/adam right out of this game. If memory serves, it was the fifth stage, the one after that rather pointless snake-riding stage. You're riding on funland-themed rails and there's a rat with a buzzsaw-like wheel chasing after you. What happens when the rat makes contact with you is that you actually get sawn in half. At first I didn't pay this too much attention. But when I took the time to actually see the process, I noticed that when the unfortunate character gets sawn in half, his exposed half is bloody red, unambiguosly displaying a playable character's graphical death, which was a first in an SNES game. I never saw that game in the same light again.

@Faapu9 жыл бұрын
Wait, why do you consider this game to have better beat'em up gameplay than the arcade game? If you ask me, I think the arcade game has more satisfying combos, instead of just downing an enemy and kicking them as the optimal strategy for every enemy.
@whoisthisgit9 жыл бұрын
+King Harkinian I played through the game on Rare Replay recently and I found it a lot more irritating than the beat 'em up gameplay from Battle Maniacs. I couldn't seem to hit anyone without getting hit back, something that annoyed me to no end in the original NES Double Dragon.

In my opinion,the game gets more interesing after the 2nd stage. It gets crazy starting on Turbo Tunnel! Stage 4,Karnath Lair,is very hard but has good music. Stage 5 is the craziest,you escape from the buzzsaw maniac. Stage 6 has one of the best music ive ever heard.
@maxwellmegagamer85352 жыл бұрын
Isn’t the buzzsaw maniac in stage 11? The worst one in the game?
