Dude, thank you so much. It’s still a work in progress. I really appreciate it!

Mike. Good choice! Always good fishing there, easy access to the fish, calm enough to fish by panga, reasonable prices, just drive to the plane, and not populated at Cedros. low probability of covid or other troubles! And you had a good time huh. Maybe send video to a friend or relative back east.

It was a very good time. I really enjoyed fishing the panga. Bruce, you seem very knowledgeable about the Baja fishing areas. Are you familiar with the erendira area?
@brucepedersen40323 жыл бұрын
I have been fishing Baja since 12 years old. The first road south was about 1971. Freedom camping all along peninsula, spearfishing, exploring all those islands, oh man. ! Knowing Spanish is a great boost to your times there.

Yes, some. The worst weather is not the hurricane, it is the north east wind blowing across the cold Sonora desert. It won't stop, you have to cross to the pacific side of Baja peninsula. That makes cedros island a very good place to know about.

@@honeyhole Hello Mike. Looking back, I never replied to your question about Erendira. We used to call it k 181, Castros Pueblo. Simply drive south 181 kilometers and turn west. It is a few miles to ocean. Now jetty improves access. I used to drive from Chula Vista in the morning, fish and then drive back home the same day. You might stay at a motel in Ensenada, drive remaining 70 kilometers south, and connect for fishing. You might look for phone numbers or contact in Ensenada. Panga fishing, yellowtail, big Bonito, barracuda, loads of rockfish. Well known cold upwelling makes for very fertile waters. Stop at the blow hole in Punta Banda and snorkel the three sisters, toes hermanas. Makes for a nice weekend.

Would love to see a f/u video on if you needed all of the plastics or if you brought anything that ended up being unnecessary. My problem is I end up packing for every possible scenario and bring way too much.
@honeyhole3 жыл бұрын
I know what you mean, i usually do the same. I definitely needed all the plastics though, I ran out. I will say It seems like when I do pack less tackle, it sometimes forces me to use things in certain situations where I normally wouldn’t, and It can make things more interesting.
