It was Meg that started the roaring right as Kevin was talking about Amy. You can't tell me animals don't know when something is wrong. I'm sure Meg wondered why Amy was always leaving and why she was left behind. When Amy joined in and finished I was crying so hard. Could you imagine poor Kevin trying to keep it together on film while we're all crying. I am crying now it's so hard not to have Amy still here. We're not even in the day to day grind of it all. But to know 2 lionesses could have such an impact on my life as Amy and Meg have. Than Kevin has successfully done what he set out to do to teach us what he felt about the lions in his care. And to show us we can have LOVE in our hearts for lions thru his vision. Don't get me wrong, Meg and Amy I saw as cubs all those years ago. I fell for those 2 little girls all this time...the to reconnect with them as adults only to lose Amy a month later it felt like someone ripped out my ❤ then you think of Kevin and the staff and volunteers then you take on their hurt and loss and it implodes. Not to demean the lose of the other lions and lionesses that have passed either because they all are Missed and Loved and I can tell some relief they aren't suffering. Because Kevin gave each and every animal at the sanctuary excellent treatment and care and time and Love. And that is all we can hope all captive animals have is someone that goes to bat for them and sees that their care and we'll being for the length of their lives is THE BEST CARE POSSIBLE and Kevin Richardson does just that👏 Thank You Kevin for loving the animals❤

This made me cry, seeing Meg and Amy together. I recently lost my girl on Oct 1st after 12 yrs. Rescued her from a horrible situation as a 3 wk old pup. For me, she was and will always be my little girl. RIP to both Amy and my girl Nanuq. Beyond that, the roar of a lion has a universal effect. My 15 y.o. Hannah heard the roaring and immediately started whining, shaking and going in circles howling. lol I had to turn the volume down to calm her. It had the opposite effect on Nanuq, when she'd hear it from other videos; she'd paced back and forth, hackles raised for a fight. lol Nanuq was a Boxer/German Shepherd mix and Hannah, also a rescue, is a miniature dachshund mix. As far my brothers cat, she tries roaring back, ears pinned and tail whipping. lol

Just can't imagine the extreme joy you must experience sitting next to and cuddling with those big cats. Everytime I see a paw reach out for you and they don't claw you I'm amazed.
