This is safe to use in regular loop with copper/brass radiators etc.? I've seen aluminium being listed as part of the construction and I'm worried that the aluminium will come in contact with the fluid...
@TheNoviceTech

boredandlazy ive been using this for months. Nothing aluminum is touching the liquid. I always suggest you use those premix anti corrosion liquid if you’re worried. Check my new build all bykski loop.

Hey can you make an install video, i want to see how you connect it to the PSU! I have a molex plug coming from the sensor! I don’t get how to use! I wish they have instruction video!
@TheNoviceTech
@TheNoviceTech 4 жыл бұрын
You should have a molex connector from your psu connecting to it. My advice would be don’t have anything else daisy chain from the molex.

Hello, back to your video before ordering it. Can you please confirm if we can mount the reservoir by the side? I mean screwing it to the bracket by the side (I see screws holes on its side).. Thank you

Do they give you a cover if you want to use a separate pump?
@TheNoviceTech
@TheNoviceTech 5 жыл бұрын
Michael Berlinger you can buy it without a pump and that will have a cover. You would save more money that way.

There is a big problem with this product, they use aluminium in the water path. Until they change that it's a problem.
@TheNoviceTech
@TheNoviceTech 5 жыл бұрын
Diabolous3x thanks for the feedback. But I agree to disagree with you. Even the phantek reservoir use aluminum fins with it product. As long as you don’t use distilled water but instead use quality liquid coolant that have Coolant Protection likeAnti-Corrosive, Anti-Freezing, Anti-Rusting and Water Scale preventive solution. You will be fine.
@Traczxm
@Traczxm 4 жыл бұрын
@@TheNoviceTech This is not completely true. Phanteks has a nickel midplate between the coolant and aluminum fin structure. If the product in the video has aluminum with direct coolant contact then I wouldn't trust it.

That is a knockoff of the Phantek reservoir. Doesn't look as nice, and build quality is less.

So you’re telling me anyone who makes a reservoir like this is knocking off phantek? Agree to disagree.
@ScytheNoire
@ScytheNoire 5 жыл бұрын
@@TheNoviceTech No, I'm saying it's exactly the same design, right down to the curves. Chances are that Phanteks are made in the exact same factory, and they do that old "one for them, one for us" when making them. This is common practice in Chinese factories, exact same product, different branding.
@HamzaElgarrab
@HamzaElgarrab 5 жыл бұрын
do you know that this design was introduced by Barrow then Bykski and then Phanteks? Funny how people link things to famous companies. Same as people who say Apple introduced notches in phones, where the original notches were in PH1 for example.
