After running this a lot in rifts, I have found that switching Zei's to Enforcer seems to really help with consistent damage output. I find that I am running so fast that I tend to be right on top of the mobs. Instead of having to trying and keep my distance to be able to get the full benefit of Zei's, enforcer allows me to basically just keep running full speed and still get a 50% dmg increase from enforcers vs the "possible" 60% I would get from Zei's due to being so close to the mobs all the time. Other than that, I absolutely love this build.

James Patterson enforcer is a good option James, but I use Zeis because it helps procs your Krysbins sentence, while enforcer does not

Finally managed to put this together on season! Works like a charm! I am still lacking a few things but one key difference is I used ancient hexing pants instead of the WD ones and it seems good for anyone who doesnt have a wd! Also lacking: one legendary ring and legendary belt, my T&T gloves lack crit chance and helm needs a socket and crit chance. Also wrists lack crit chance. But even so - I can speed through Torment 16 group like a lawnmower! Great build, great guide thank you very much! Hope I bump into you if you're on EU.

Jose Soto hey Jose, sets for the most part aren’t valuable this season, unless you’re playing a wizard where the Vyrs set is amazing. The best pet build that I know is the one in this video and it’s the only one I use. One other great pet build is the dagger of darts witch doctor which uses fetishes as pets that shoot darts as well :)

James Patterson hey James, this build dominates for bounties as well and it’s what I use! If you want to drop land of the dead for bone spikes - sudden impact, that will give you a consistent stream of essence. More necro videos are coming soon... as in... tomorrow!

good build! its a little bit misleading on how powerful you will be when gearing up for this though. Most of your items have +500 main stat augments on it. Hey Jeff, great questions. i didn't pick up the items in the rift because it was on the public test realm, so I didn't get to keep anything :). The only reason the d3planner says hexing pants is because it wouldn't let me choose pants from a different class (the swamp lands are WD pants). Both pairs are good and you can use either, but I use swamp land waders :)

Hi Eric, I ran this build right from the very beginning. As long as you have 1 ancient you can easily do GR20. I just spammed rifts until I had everything. A lot of rifts... lol. I went with this straight away and didn't bother with any other builds. Ended up rank 1 in every category at the end of day 1 :D

You're not stupid richard, the door boss is real. The best way is to cast mages on the door itself (mouse over it then cast). Doors are so annoying!

Got a dumb question hope to get a response so I had an ancient shadow hook that dropped. Should i swap that out with my none ancient cycle and ringer and cube the cycle instead of the hook?

Hey Dominic, you don't want to do that. cube Relina's and wear the cycle and an offhand. the reason is once you get them ancient, you get 2 bonuses from LoN from wearing 2 items. Wearing a 2 hander is not an option for that reason. Cube relinas

I have farmed and made hellfire amulets before, what level do we need to get ancients? also yo mentioned it would give us a passive ,is tht "fixed" or can we choise and if so what would be best? how long did it take you to get the items you used? I assume we use the gift for the season till we can switch.

Bruce Cox ancients can drop once you hit 70. You can’t choose which passive comes on the hellfire, but you can keep making them until you get what you want. You’d want any of the 4 passives mentioned in this build, or Overwhelming Essence

There is quite some Improvements to your Build in my opinion. 1. Lost time gets procced by LotD which means you get an extra MS% boost of up to 50% 2. CDR > ATS which means you only need 3x 7% ATS rolls to hit the animation breakpoint for the Mages 3. I would run Leorics Crown instead of Andariels Visage (with an Diamond of course) 4. You can run with Ingeom instead of the Shadowhook (T13 without any problems, once you reach paragon 2k+ with decent gear, speed 80-85s shouldnt be a problem either) which means more LotD uptime = more health globes 5. Instead of BotT i would run Wrath of Lightning which gives additional 25% MS and proccs quite often. Just my 2 cents

Autrux ♥ two of those are good ideas, the lost time and WOL. CDR is absolutely useless in this build. You only need 1 land of the dead in this build at the beginning, and spamming blood rush isn’t good either, it causes your mages to stop shooting too often and not clear the rift. So leorics loses us damage for no benefit, the diamond loses us health for no benefit, the in geom loses us damage for no benefit. I run wreath of lightning on my necro over trapped bc I have godly gear, but I made this video as a guide for necros leveling up, they’ll want to use BOTT to get everything down. That said, I appreciate your insights. You clearly know the necro class and took the time to look into my video and build, which I appreciate!

The build Autrux is referring to with ingeom is LoN Singularity Speed and is a top tier speed build. It takes a bit longer to get into sometimes because of the CDR requirements. This on the other hand is a viable early to mid season option based on what ancients drop. Thanks Raxxanterax ! I'll check you out on twitch sometime.

The gold wrap + boon + avarice band make you invincible. So why take final service? isn't that a wasted passive? I would probably go with Overwhelming Essence instead for the additional damage... or maybe Dark Reaping to allow more forgiving use of essence.

Final service is only for when things go wrong (mages are dead, land of the dead is down). it's very rare, but if you die you lose your pools (matters at high paragons). Overwhelming essence and Dark Reaping are great options as well, you can also wear a hellfire to get a 5th passive since the amulet doesn't matter.

Jomba the Swamp Land Waders are only found on witch doctors. So you’ll want to use your blood shards to gamble for pants on a witch doctor to get them for your necro :)

For Hardcore it'd be the same since this build is literally immortal with gold wrap + boon + avarice band. For GRs I'd take the LoN mage group build guide I made and drop blood rush for Bone Spikes - Singularity and change the rune on devour to cannablize and you'll be ready for GRs :)

@@Raxxanterax survivability. Sometines Lack of essence to summon mages when land of the dead is on CD and no corpses around..essence issues. This happens only in group bounty farming as we skip mobs and jump from one zone to another.

try to slot in bone spikes - sudden impact. then stay at max range spamming the generator. you will always be squishy, but if you're an entire screen away the mobs can't touch you, and the stun procs your krysbins sentence :)

for 2-4 minute 80/85s at LOW Paragon run simulacrum instead of frailty. Enforcer/Gizzard/Trapped for gems. need unity or Lornelles Sunstone instead of CoE for dmg reduction. Ingeom in cube. Armor rune on Blood Rush. After you kill an elite pack with ingeom active just hold down blood rush to become invulnerable (during teleport) and u spam it to next elite pack. then just walk around spam bone armor to keep mobs stunned till elite dies.

Hey Tunez, in Season 17, every character automatically gets the LoN buff as long as they don't have any set bonuses. This frees up our jewelry slots to wear something else :)

Razorsharp UT Good question! It’s because we don’t need more damage, we already 1 shot just about everything. I wanted the build to be as easy to play as possible and not rely on any cool downs (we only cast LotD once). If we needed more damage, we’d just put our paragon points in and take overwhelming essence passive.

resource cost reduction is good because it reduces the initial cost and thus increasing the amount it consumes for the bonus damage

m Douet you can take overwhelming essence if you’re lacking damage, but as you can see in the video, I was basically 1 shoting everything already. That’s why I took Fueled by Death

@@Raxxanterax Was pointing it out because you mentioned that you should pick up max Essence from paragon. You really didn't go over GR options for this build, that is definitely one change I would make for GRs.

m Douet for GRs overwhelming essence is way better. You’ll also want to pick up bone spikes sudden impact for the curse, and drop boon of the hoarder for enforcer, and drop gold wrap for witching gour

Step 1: Gamble for pants on any lvl 70 character (does NOT need to be a WD) Step 2: Put the yellow pairs of pants in your stash Step 3: Create lvl 1 WD (you do NOT need to level him up) Step 4: Grab lvl 70 yellow pants on lvl 1 WD, go to Kanai's cube, use recipe 3 to "Upgrade Rare to Legendary". You will get lvl 70 legendary pants. You have a pretty good chance to get the Waders after about 10 crafts or so :)

@@sadistmy you absolutely can! On whatever character you play, gamble for pants. Put all the yellow pants into your stash. Make a level 1 seasonal WD, grab the pants, then use recipe 3 in kanais cube and then you can give the pants back to your main character.
