My best tips are: 1) Spider cacoons+chrono crystals are the fastest way to start getting a lot of cards. Killed 4th boss on 7th loop with this strat. Probably bad for runs where you want to go above loop 20. 2) Outposts are free for rogue. They help when you are weak(before you upgrade your camp a bit and unlock good cards etc) and in 20+ loop runs. Also they help in boss fight! 3) Rat wolf perk is probably the best. A pretty fat extra magic shield that also does a bit of damage.

You only have 11 inventory slots, so why do you want so many trophies on Rogue? I often get to camp with way over 11 effectively wasting all the items above that. Am I missing something?

@@zuckerjoe1 yeah,rogue trophies indeed do not matter,I should not have added that part. But cacoons+chrono crystals are the best way to get a lot of cards in minimal number of loops. Killing 4th chapter final boss in under 7 loops with any other deck would be a lot harder(more luck dependant). I think cacoons are the fastest way reach the cap on resources in chapters 1-3 which is nice unless you speed the game up via config file or cheat engine. You don't choose spider cacoons for 20+ loop runs though.

my deck is different, i use cemetery(next to the campfire archers for the beggining), grove, chrono crystals(i fill the whole map), outpost, forest, dunes, suburbs(idk if i need to change these 3 cards), rivers, oblivion and arsenal. i start putting cemeteries nexto to the capfire, then i fill the map with outposts, groves and crystals, and in the end i use the cemeteries too, and i pick one side of the map and fill with suburbs, and get something around 130 bonus xp, and inthe other i put rivers, thickets and dunes. in the end i finish with around 60 atack speed 30% less enemies atack speed and less 25% life. do you think i need to change it? i usually play this on chapter 3, and i am trying to get to the second boss. i have 10 potions, 5 counts chair, and 3/4 antique shelfs. sorry for being long, i hope you can help me👍

@@JoaoPedroRomao I used spider cacoons+chrono crystals to farm chapter 3 and to beat chapter 4. This combo gets you most cards in minimal amount of loops. After around 6-7 runs in chapter 3 until resource cap,I went to chapter 4 and beat final boss on loop 7 first try. I was using this deck for both: cemetry+ruin,chrono crystals+spider cacoons+outposts,river+forest,arsenal. I transformed forests into burnt forests using storm temple,and used thickets for attack speed. Magic damage from burnt forests was like 30-50% of my total damage,I am pretty sure they are more efficient than dunes until loop 20+(because dunes reduce enemy hp by %,while burnt forests give flat bonus magic damage) I highly recommend putting 2 outposts near camp so that 2 guards help you against bosses. Supply items:I just put everything I had,I had around 5 chairs. From my experience ratwolfs are hard to deal with because of their nasty abilities. Scorch worms from ruins seem to drop a lot less cards than other enemies,probably because of their 60% chance to survive in battle. I did not know that until later.

Lethal Weakness was super noticable on the boss, and child of the forest is very good for and extra unit on your side.

You were correct, by middle 30sh loop, you'll be receiving over 200 trophies per loop if you fight five enemies per tile. So 100's of HP per loop is not a lie and it works fantastically.

Same here,they help quite nicely when you go over 15 loops and can no longer get stonger faster than mobs. Also I always use them to help me kill boss as rogue! They tank a few hits and prove to be very helpful in my playthrough.

Also im kinda thinking going dunes is better if you plan to farm over 20 loops. Magic damage from burnt forests becomes weaker obviously as game goes on while dunes don't.

@@ГенийЖизни-л7ю the appeal of the thickets isn't the burned forest but rather the attack speed buff, dunes is a good option but IMO only if you have evasion or REALLY good way to farm max HP as even a 25% max HP reduction can be really bad for rogue

@@ГенийЖизни-л7ю technically speaking you don't need to kill it even once, since you get nothing from it. and also technically speaking, you don't need to use most tiles in the game, you can get litterally every material with just Spider cocoon, Library, and Vampire mansion. everything else is just optional.

Ok, so based on my testing on Rivers, it seems that it multiples only to a certain extent. These are the numbers I got when testing with thickets and Rivers: No river - 2% 1 river - 4% 2 rivers - 8% 3 rivers - 12% 4 rivers - 16% It seems like it caps out at an additional 4% per river so you can get a single river giving you 32% increase, which makes sense. I have found the most effective method is to weave the rivers back and forth to increase the amount of 3 river thickets.

Optimal layout you can find on the internet (Posted link below). Basically have the river go around each thicket near corner to cover 4-sides and then make the river run diagonal, and meander, so in each corner 3×3 - you can have a 32% river/thicket set-up. Ideally you want the sides of your random loop to have 5 tiles across for terrain, but you can still work w 4. One nice formation on a side I think equals 234%, leaving plenty of room for dunes, oases, and/or suburbs. Start river near middle line height, and then when planning I always plan from the corner thicket I'll be wrapping around, and then from that thicket, you will place more thickets in a diagonal, where the river will wrap multiple on 4-sides. From the site's setup, you may need to invert or compensate for less tiles across, and depending on whether you want river to cross top or bottom. I've found that sometimes it's best to end the river, as leading all the way to the other side to wrap suburbs is def not worth it. It is worth crossing to make oases, but you could also fill the map w dunes instead. I'm still farming mats to unlock cards. Still trying to get the river. Would you say rogue is okay for farming, or should I stick to warrior? i got rogue in chapter 1 but I found him much weaker than the warrior. Only since getting the forest card have I found rogue useful by stacking atk speed.

Ancestral Crypt might be useful on Necro, but anyone else... Arsenal all the way. If Ancestral Crypt provided max hp increase I would consider it.

Arsenal sucks. Losing quality by 15% is really detrimental later loops when you really need gear to scale. Now if you're going for something unique with blood groves and blood paths, and are trying to get more than one arsenal, then sure. Yet this is a specific challenge way to play.

I don't know if anyone else noticed but he didn't actually use the exact build that he shows at the beginning of the video. Instead of blood grove he uses spider cocoon and instead of ancestral crypt he uses arsenal.

Spider cacoons are really good for fast start. I combine them with chrono crystals and place cacoons on corners so that every cacoon can spawn up to 8 spiders. I killed 4th boss in 7 loops without cheats or op supply items,just had about 5 vamp chairs and a load of trash. Use spiders,they are awesome.

I think the many small bonuses on items for rogue is good because you get an innate bonus to a stat for every item you have that buffs that stat.

every 10% 0.5 , so with having lost 90% of your HP it should be 9 x 0.5 = 4,5% chance and with having 600% attackspeed . that might be decent

I mean you're just Being carried by a shitload of supplies. If you don't play a lot you won't have those & this build doesn't work then. You don't gains HP fast enough from the ratwolves/skeletons & they Outscale you in the early game Outpost is amazing as well because it's free for Rogue.

(still on chapter 2) for some reason ratwolves demolish me cuz i don't tend to have high damage to all. Ancestral crypt also caps my HP so it's not very good for me.

Ancestral crypt doesn't cap HP. You're chosing the wrong tiles. You have to chose tiles that spawn monsters with souls. Avoid fields with scarecrows unless you go overgrown fields, because grass has a soul. Avoid spiders, they don't have souls. Avoid 'a village?' because constructs don't have souls.

Found out that you can hit floor 35+ every run with forest and river. Just snake the river to touch 4 sides of each thicket, using the first 4 columns on the left side of screen. Just build attack all items. Flood the enemies with 3+ mobs. Take traits that give max hp when trophy and more trophy when 3+ mobs. Ezpz

burnt forest is kind of poopy to be honest, you don't need burnt forest when you get to like loop 40-60 because how little they give when I get 300-400 magic damage just from gear. Just get half of the map full of river and thickets when the other have full dunes.

thats actual not the optimal river placement, you can get 180% IAS in a 4 wide area if you do it correctly. Also counter resets your attacks, it isnt a free attack

How?...going from left to right over 3 wide in a snake like pattern gets you to 112%, same over 4 wide gets you to 160% with more river tiles ofc as if you go snake up and down which would get you to 140%. What is your way?

Wait a second I tried and got my evasion to 70 with counter have I made the Rogue unkillable for 15 loops including killing the first boss it's at the beginning but I swear evasion over 70 with critical was stress relieving

Its simply wrong... orange items are the best for rogue, cause he gets a bonus for each stat at multiple items, so if you have crit-chance and crit-dmg at all items, u gain more of both, than u would, if u have 1 item with one high stat. I had 1 round with 90%critchance and 400% critdamage. AND u dont need that much shelfs... what for? 10 are enough. With 1000 ressources it gains 10000 hp etc, what do u want with more? It looks nice, but its uneffective. More Dmgstuff would be usefull xD
