I have the Epson 2760 and I have ONLY used Hiipoo Sublimation Ink. I absolutely LOVE this Ink and I haven't even considered purchasing any other kind.

Any tips on how to make my black colors black? I’m doing the sublimation on 65% polyester 35 cotton. I have press set for 375 for 85 second with med pressure. The black color looks good on the sublimation paper but has a green tint to it on garment. Thanks

Sounds like you might need more time keep it at 375 and increase the time by 20 secs until the black tighten up.... green usually mean not enough time/temp, brown is too much time/temp .....most likely the press isn’t exact temp might want to get a laser thermometer to check it...

Hi there. Unfortunately, you need an Epson to do this. It's the printhead they have that makes it possible. I would look for an Ecotank 2720 to start, then usually have really good deals this time of year.

Hi! Great videos. Do the Hiipoo sub inks require any ICC profiles for software? If yes, where would we get the profiles?

I don’t use ICC profiles because a true ICC profile needs to be calibrated to the paper, ink and monitor at the same time ... so an ICC profile could still look off. I suggest watching my Let’s Sublimate a shirt series I go over all the settings

If you leave the old inks in there might be a little color shift but most inks tend to blend in pretty well. Is Ltd kinda up to you what you want to do.. if you take out the inks just use the syringe to do it and have paper towels handy

What’s the cheapest laptop I can buy to work with this printer? I want to download photoshop and other apps to help print out pictures

For the printer just about any laptop could work, but if you want speed...you want at least 16gb RAM, get a SSD hardrive in it so it works fast, and any RYSZEN 5 or above should be good on Intel 7 chip.., if you buy new could be 1k+, if you buy used you can get lucky on a gaming laptop for around 5oo

Sublimation won’t fade it literally becomes the fabric , completely different than anything else. It binds to the material (polyester) ... the draw back is it doesn’t work on dark colors or cotton has to be a high poly count

@@edselmartinez8879 please do not use those sprays they are toxic and do not last it’s not true sublimation. I talk frequently about those products I do not recommend And has to be an Epson printer it’s the type is print head that make you able to use it

I haven’t tried cosmos yet, and not sure if they are manufacturing the ink itself . But the honestly it’s the settings you put on the computer and printer that make the end result not just the inks... I suggest watching some of my Let’s sublimate series where I go over settings , that’s where your big differences in color will be

@@GiveMeSigns I'm Pressing At 365 For 30 Sec. And Medium Pressure On 100% Cotton.

@@jameswilliams6543 if you are using sublimation the shirt have to be 65% Polyester or more ,, cotton is not meant for sublimation. That the first issue, if doing sublimation on a polyester shirt I suggest 375 degrees for 80 sec , you can adjust time up or down depending on your press.

Thanks for the video. Maybe I missed it but what program are you printing from? I started sublimation 2 months ago and bought this ink to convert my Epson 2760. I have no basis for comparison so I want to know if I can do better. I want to elimination the Epson profile and allow Photoshop to manage the colors. I hear this ink does not require a ICC profile so does this mean I can just let the Epson handle the colors or should I let Photoshop? And if PS, which printer profile should I use? Thanks.

Hello, how can I get the icc profile of the ink? I bought it on Amazon but it did not come and they could not send it to me

I’m not sure if they don’t have it available. But note ICC profiles are three part (monitor, paper, ink) so even when downloading ICC profile be aware they could still be off. I suggest using CMYK color space then print with the settings I go over in my CYMK vs RGB video in my playlist ... those are the settings I use with the inks

Quality wise I feel it's a tie. It all depends on the color profile your using. You want to support Black Business then stay with Cosmos but really I've jive wish I would have started out with Hiipoo... For Cost and availability
