Tip on telling which side is the right side of paper to print on: As a general rule, if you pinch the paper with damp fingers, the correct side will stick to your finger.

Before we buy any supplies, we check on Angie's site first to get her recommendation. We thought we would trip Hiipoo sublimation paper to go with the Hiipoo sublimation ink recommended. We definitely prefer the A-Sub paper over the Hiipoo sublimation paper. The issue is when trying to trim the paper. Using the Circuit trimmer, the Hiipoo sublimation paper will "catch" and not cut a clean line. The A-Sub paper cuts well with the trimmer every time. (Note: the blade is new too). For us, we will stick with the A-Sub paper and with any of Angie's recommendations!
@AngieHolden2 жыл бұрын
I use both of that and the Hiipoo paper is definitely tricky to cut with a paper trimmer! I have noticed that as well!
@lynnebizlyne4362 жыл бұрын
I too found that using the Circuit trimmer with Laser paper (using infusible ink) also catches and does not cut a clean line, as well as the printable vinyl. Yes it has a brand new blade in it so I am not sure why it only cuts regular copy paper ok. I found my cheaper Office Depot Carl brand trimmer cuts way better.

Despite the paper not having a watermarked side, you can tell from the feel & color of the paper which is the correct side to print on. Thanks for this video Angie! ASub comes in 125g and 120g. I see you are using the 125g. Do you know the difference? I know 120g is thinner but curious why there are two different weights.
@AngieHolden3 жыл бұрын
I could probably use a lower weight but I don't do enough sublimation printing to keep all of the weights. The difference is going to be in how color saturated your image is, the humidity at the time, and how fast your printer prints. I am finding I can use the 125 all of the time and not have issues. Which works for me. The lighter weight is probably less money as well. So, if you have prints that are not as color saturated, trying a lighter weight is not a bad idea.

Here is a brief explanatino: A-Sub 105g - best for designs that have light to medium ink saturation. A-Sub 120g - best for medium to slightly heavy-saturated ink designs A-Sub 125g - best for when you print designs that have very heavy ink saturation. I tend to have both 120 and 125 here on hand.
