Ok I should’ve tweeted one of my favorite lines, which is “I brought a knife to a gunfight, they took the crown but it’s alright” from Call it what you want. This is for me one of the most mature lines ever. I love how she says that she’s okay and accepts losing a battle that she knew she couldn’t win with what she had at the moment. Also, how wining a dumb fight isn’t important for her anymore. Idk, i just think that it’s such a great line, from such a great song.

i agree about So It Goes Being great and underrated. On my first listen through on Rep release day, i scratched down a few notes, and next to SIG i wrote "pleasant filler" and "forgettable?" In your video at 3:49 when "change" i.e. money is referenced, consider this also: in Tied Together With a Smile lyrics, Taylor also refers to "change" as money / love / affection. PART 2! PART 2! Plus this album shows Tay being an adult, drinking and doing adult thing. (Scratches down your back-from So It Goes) Top 3 Taylor songs: End Game-It was my fave from the release of Rep. I Know Places (1989)-I like the whole line about them being Foxes and running from the hunters, plus Tay is just a fox and she knows it ^_^ And Foxes are one of my favorite critters. Shake It Off (1989)-I know this is probably a given, but End Game and Shake It Off just put me in a good mood instantly. Runners Up: Our Song and Love Story-That country twang guuuurl. And 22. I love dancing to it. I go from jumping around to Shake it Off/22 to thinking I'm a hip hop star with End Game. I can't wait to see how many awards she wins from this album.

Reputation is pure poetry.. I have to be honest though: Due to the fact that I'm not english, I missed a few of this quotes. I absolutely have to go and deeply listen to all the songs I kinda underrated, like So It Goes or Dress. That being said, I really love when she says "You did a number on me, but honestly baby who's counting?" in So It Goes.. Plus I noticed you never quoted Gorgeous and that's a shame. Gorgeous is a big quote song. Every period of that song is pure poetry because it perfectly describes how you feel when you fall in love with someone you shouldn't be in love. Well "Guess I'll just stumble on home to my cats... alone. Unless you wanna come along". I really love your TayTay videos.. You should do a Best Lyrics video of her entire discography.

My five fav lines are... First from Call It What You Want: “my castle crumbled overnight, I brought a knife to a gunfight” because this literally happened to me over the last year. I lost my two best friends and my boyfriend who was also my best friend since we were 10 years old... I lost three best friends in one year. Not a good past year. Second from Call It What You Want: “all my flowers grew back as thorns, windows boarded up after the storm, he built a fire just to keep me warm” because it applies to my life a lot right now; I’ve growns thorns and my windows are boarded up, and I’m just waiting for someone to build me a fire, too :) Third from Getaway Car: “X marks the spot, where we fell apart, he poisoned the well, I was lying to myself” my past relationship to a T! I know when I should’ve left but I stayed and ended being lied to. I could’ve saved myself a lot of pain if I’d just realized he’d “poisoned the well” but I lied to myself. Fourth, also from Getaway Car: “we were jet-set, Bonnie and Clyde” because I love history and it just gets me how she compares them to the bond between Bonnie and Clyde. I reeeally love getaway car lyrics! It feels to me like she iis kinda regreted for letting someone get in her life just to fill a hole left by the previous lover, and it hurts her that she let him believe that their relationship could go really far when it wouldn't be like that.
