I went to a lyric video of Cold as You (track five as you mentioned) and there's a lyric at the end that says "and I know you wouldn't tell nobody if I died, died for you" and in LWYMMD she says that the old Taylor can't come to the phone because she's DEAD! Dead for Joe?? Hmmm... And also in the same song it says something like "what a perfect rainy end to a perfect day" that's not word for word, but that's basically what it said, and in the Delicate video it's raining!! I think the fighting scene was about people from all types of platforms talking about or fighting over Taylor's character as portrayed by their respective platforms. E.g. the media portrays her as someone sick and manipulative but the fans would battle head to head for her. When the war was raging on, nobody's heard from her for months because she was just doing better than she ever was. When she was away from the lenses, there were a lot of theories of what could have been happening to her to the point that some of the Swifties started to think negative things too. Some were even arguing over twitter. It was just chaotic even when she was invisible. This is just my pov. :) Still love your look.

I think you're so right. In the beginning to me she did look so unhappy but she also looked lonely even though she was surrounded by people. Maybe because the people she was surrounded by didn't really get her. But Joe and we (the fans) do get her and that's why the only times she looked genuinely happy was when she saw him and she was with those girls. I also think that fight scene is interesting. Maybe she's trying to say she's fed up of being in the middle of all these rumours and fights and she just wants to shake it off. Because that what she does before the gorilla move. She shimmy's and shakes. Kind of like a reference to shake it off. So maybe that's what she trying to tell us that she's done with the public fights. For example with Katy Perry and Kim and Kanye. Lauren, I promised some thoughts on TSL. So here goes… So glad you see that that the Kenzo as is different than the Delicate Music Video. As for the three women arguing…. In order to frame the shot and reinforce that taylor is invisible, she has to move/dance between people who are interacting with each other. The three girls in the ladies’ room were having friendly chat. So, the three girls in the lobby need to do something different. Arguing means they are engaged with each other & should have seen Taylor dancing between them. As a bonus, she did have to move past a lot of negativity since her last album. She dropped off the radar in both the media and social media. She became invisible. That’s how she got past the negativity. Like dancing to her own tune while the argument carried on without her.

Lauren, I love your decoding! I've been going back and watching your reaction then decoding. I have to say you don't miss much! The only thing I would add is comparing the first frame with the last. The lighting: so muted as in Taylor having to contain herself to the media...the image of perfection. The lighting in the bar: brilliant lighting from the back of her head, almost resembling a halo! The lights show how messed up her hair is, not perfect! But of course, the biggest difference is the look in her eyes. On the red carpet, her eyes are sad, almost haunted in a way...empty. I love your channel so much! This explains so much for me about the video! Also I think when Taylor was dancing at the subway station and the grafiti said "Track 5" behind her...it definitely references the "Track 5" thing everyone loves but also that that could've been Track 5 at the subway station. Just something I thought of!
