Nice videos man. Keep up the good work. I disagree on a few points however: -Belt: Enhanced Belt of the Inferno. Makes those fire mines really more powerful. -Armor: Battlemage Armor Schematic. 20 utility slots with the upgrades vs 12 and more defenses. Less armor. -Personal preference: I craft more for Willpower instead of Magic and/or Cunning. Willpower gives +% Att as well as Magic Defense whereas Magic's secondary effect is to increase barrier penetration which seems way less important to me. With the Ring of Doubt I don't feel that I need that much Crit chance and Flashpoint doesn't need that much either to proc every 10 sec. I'm usually ok around 35% and I prefer stacking Att%. My armor and belt preferences are better for group play but if you're soloing you might prefer the extra health and armor.

I can see that you kinda swap belt defence and armour offence around compared to me xD I chose to do the other so I have overall more damage but I can see with the right build a heavy fire mine focused build can destroy. Great suggestions, imma pin it so other people can see your ideas :D

Just to let any newbies know, the best headgear, for every class, is now found in the Deep Roads, part of the Descent dlc. They're better than anything you can craft but I wouldn't advise going there until you're at least level 18. Also, youre going to want the Sigil of the Great Bear on your armour. This will double your mana pool, with no real cost. The sigil also halves your mana regeneration but, as mana regen is calculated as a percentage of your maximum mana, and your maximum mana is doubled by the sigil, there really aren't any negatives, in practice. :)

I usually make HUGE stat sacrifices in the name of aesthetics... xD I'm pretty sure you can make an entire build around the Ring of Doubt. Doesn't it guarantee a critical hit when you attack from stealth? Imagine stacking Crit Damage and nuking people with a Flaming Array... I remember trying that, but Nightmare and the "Walk Softly" trial make elemental immunities an immense buzzkill. Also, it should be noted that the Keeper robe is exclusive to elves. (Elven mages get some surprisingly cool gear, don't they?)

Tyrdda's Staff is fairly good early to mid game. It's easy to get. You just need to find the 8 Tyrdda's codex's and then complete the war table operation. I was at about 8th level getting it.

Question on ring of doubt and fire mine combo... breaking stealth = guarantee crit? no? if I cast normal Fire Mine , it didnt crit, and kinda slow activation even tho enemy alrdy standing on top of it. if I cast flaming array fire mine, it crit and explodes instantly. HOWEVER on high dragons, only 1 out of 3 directly exploded even tho the other 2 mines are being stepped by it... a huge turn off IF flaming array fire mine stealth casted on 3 units grouped together. Will it crits on all 3 of em?

Is there a video on the best companion builds to do with a mage for DA:I? I saw your Never Ending Group build, but you never went into exactly how to build up your companions builds and what to have at each tier. Plus, that was set around your necromancer and not the knight-enchanter you recommend today for high tier play.

I did a few of the builds of the never ending group build but not all of them. Still thinking of a full companion build to do. However i suggest just putting many builds together. Get full tank, 2 full dps and a support mage that should work the best. In the future i'll try make a video on this exactly but to cover it it wont be the most detailed video however i'll try cover everything.

Sorry English is not my first language, but can you tell me how is your character not in stealth mode while equipping ring of doubt? it just my character always in stealth mode and i really dont like that :p

There is a way to get out of stealth. Just auto attack nothing and jump straight away. It can take a few tries but should work on getting you out of stealth.

What's the point of overkilling it so much with crit chance? Ring of doubt gives you guaranteed crits already so it would be more efficient to just invest in attack % or critical damage. The bind that guides is tresspasser only item, so if it's the best "tresspasser " build we are talking about, might as well use Heart of Rage, which is literally the best possible damage staff in this game. Probably add a superior elemental belt in there too, because extra hp don't matter on a Knight enchanter, your shield is your health bar anyways.

First, sorry, but english is not my mother language. I would craft my staff with a bit of critical, then wear the Mask of the Grand Duchess, a belt of the pact and an armor with a sigil to gain more barrier. What do you think? Thanks, man, keep your awesome work!

That is a good idea to get crit early and a very offensive set up. In a full party for sure this gear will work really well :) Solo, Nightmare with trials maybe not. But like I said in a party it will work.

In my experience, it's a random loot. There is no definite drop point, but I've gotten it in more than half of my playthroughs. A likely place to loot it would be Descent DLC. There are plenty of hidden chests in there and many of them carry Superb-class accessories.

According to the wikia it is restricted to elves but I've never crafted it in game because the best armor is the Battlemage Armor Schematic. 20 utility slots vs 12 with the upgrades and more defenses. The only downside is it has less armor. He could have used a cheat or mod to unlock it for all races.

For metal damage: Dragon Bone, for defensive metal: Veil Quartz. To gain magic use Royale Sea Silk, for willpower if needed emperial Vestment Cotton. Any leather for crit i use: Imbued Tusket Hide. I hope that helps.

I'm playing this game smack in the middle of Trespasser after not having played for 3 years and I can't figure out how I made my mage staff. It's got level 27, 217 dps, 84 fire damage and several attribute boosts. It's called Resolute Imbued Scepter I have no idea how I crafted it.

Hey im playing an archer in dragon age inquisition what specialization would you recommend

It's hard to say as they are all good.I suggest looking at combat/builds of the 3 specs and then chose but normally, Assassin is a more 1 shot stealth slower play style, Artificer is a more spam everything type play style, and Tempest is more of an all round were u can have high burst and great survival. Also take a look at my complete tier list, that might help you chose. I hope that all helps :)

I've had extremely good success with assassin archer combo. I can turn out massive dmg about every 15/20seconds depending on how many skills I use inbetween cooldowns. With the combo I use most bosses and dragons eat pavement after 1 combo.
