I really appreciate that you do high end and drug store in the same video. It shows when a drugstore product is so much better than a high end product in a product category. Im always wary when they are broken up into separate videos, i always end up wondering which they preferred.

I don't own any Natasha Denona products but your review of the Retro palette really intrigues me. You also have such a nice balance of high end and drugstore items. I think that is exactly what most people actually have in their makeup bags. I am tired of watching influencers who only focus on Tom Ford, Chanel, Victoria Beckham and Dior.

The Tinkerbell pallet from Colourpop is my favorite pallet, even after picking up ND Gold and the Huda Mercury Retrograde (first pallet from each brand). I have aged out of full coverage foundation, but I enjoyed Tarte Hydroflex, Fenty Powder, and Illia SPF tint.

A bunch of the youtubers I enjoy watching only uploaded high end favourites and its kind of saddening because its that time of the year where I would like to treat myself to something bougie but I do not have that budget. My favorite makeup purchase this year has been skincare lol. I've gotten my skin to such a good place that all I'm wearing as a base is some undereye concealer and a few dots around my nose. As someone with sensitive, acne-prone skin this is a huge achievement and has changed my makeup game.

12:15 hahaha yes Andrea, it did make sense. I love it when ppl don't cut out from the video these funny moments. Catrice has four wonderful palettes that are called "bae". My top makeup purchases of the year was Maybelline brow fast sculpt and Essence's lash princess with the orange and purple letters, I like them even better than the one with green letters! 😍 Revlon Colorstay lipliners and eyeliners are AWESOME and they've been around for a very long time. They glide and stay put all day. I love that Colorstay line since they came out with it.

I bought my first two Huda palettes this year (Rose Quartz and Mercury retrograde) and I wonder what took me SO LONG to try such a BEAUTIFUL eyeshadow formula. The SPARKLE. Her palettes are just so unique and I'm going to be getting more. I just ordered my first Natasha Denona midi palette (Sunrise) and I'm excited to try it out. I've tried quite a few other things that are new to me this year, but Huda is definitely the most exciting.

Elf Cosmetics bite eyeshadow palette in Orange Dreamiscle, HUDA Beauty Mercury Retrograde Eyeshadow Palette, Natasha Denona Mini Love Eyeshadow Palette and Too Faced Killer Eyeliner in Turquoise. I also do love using Elf Cosmetics liquid glitter eyeshadow in Flirty Bird, Mermaid Shimmer and Disco Queen combined for a holiday look and also for a quick ten minute eyeshadow.

I've been wearing powder foundations for years and yes it's so convenient how quick and fast u can get ur base down. J. Cat Aquasurance Foundation is my favorite, watch some youtube videos to figure out ur shade and order a few shades and return the ones that didn't work out. I wear shade "Natural", I'm a light-Med skin tone w/yellow-neutral-golden undertones and I wear that shade all year round, sometimes I might mix in "Soft Tan" if I'm getting tanner during summer. I use "Ivory" or "Buff" as my brighter shade for concealer, eye primer and highlighting the high points of my face. Loreal infallible freshwear 24hr powder foundation is good too but I haven't tested a lighter shade with that one yet. I use shade "Golden Beige" and it's slightly more than than "Natural" from J.Cat.

I was honestly surprised the LA Girl palettes got beat by the Catrice 5 pans! I also love that you pull in brands like Buxom that other people just scoff at (other than the Ash K. Holm collab). I totally bought the elf glosses based on your recommendation, and I definitely agree, they feel great on the lips! Based on how you were describing the tower 28 blushes, I had an idea: I would love to see you do a video where you play with different styles of makeup. Okay, I love how you keep mentioning the Retro palette because I don't have any Natasha Denona but I debated getting the Glam palette at the VIB sale this year but then Retro palette came out and I couldn't decide but seeing you recommend it once again makes me think that this is the one I'm gonna eventually go for because I love pink palettes! My best purchase of this year was the Revolution Pro XXact eyeliner in the color Kohl. One swipe on the water line and its a high pigmented no budge , stay all day liner. THE best black eyeliner I've ever used. I'm now interested into trying the Jelly Pop primer!

Love your “mama brain”! 😁 All mothers suffer from it-it’s a terrible affliction. 🙃 I’ve had absolutely zero luck with any ND mini palettes. I own probably 7-8 different 5-pan ND palettes-they are all terrible for me. Those $65 palettes are amazing, I own Love, Retro & Sunrise. All 3 are so good! I have the worst trouble getting any product to adhere to my waterline. The only thing that works for me is Inglot gel liner. However, I did find a new liquid liner-the new Bite beauty liner is amazing! It’s jet black, so easy to apply (but you have to wait for dry down to avoid lid transfer). I’ve been able to create really nice winged liner with it. I’m obsessed 😍

The Huda Beauty 18-pan eyeshadow palettes are my favorites, so I have a feeling I would like the mid-sized Natasha Denona palettes (since they’re similar in size and in price). If I were to get a Natasha Denona palette it would be the Retro palette, because pink eyeshadows are my favorite. I’m such a creature of habit though, so I’m not sure that I’ll ever venture outside of Huda Beauty for eyeshadow, as my makeup collection is pretty minimal.
