I have just recently purchased several cream and liquid blushes, but have not gone there yet with contour or bronzer. There is a bit of a learning curve and probably I need to use different brushes. I have a lot of brushes so hopefully I can find something in what I have and not have to purchase one, especially for this task.

A question about the Pat McGrath pink under eye setting powder. Are you in love with the formula or the shade or both nice under setting powders in translucent and I have one overall setting powder and soft rose that I sometimes use under my eyes just curious about what attracts you to the product Over the translucent one or if it is in place of the translucent one. Ramble but I guess in a nutshell did you try the translucent shade prior to trying the pink shade or was the pink shade the first one you tried?

I just purchased that cold smoulder nudes palette. Bit of an issue getting it as I ordered it and they sent me the warm one and then didn’t want to exchange it even though it was not my issue. I was able to go into store and exchange it without any problem, it is truly a little gem. A cool tone lovers dream was just the right amount of choice and the proper size

Please don't get discouraged by negative comments, Risa! I think you do a marvelous job with your videos. They are honest and informative. I trust your judgement. Even though you may get tons of positive feedback, the few negative ones seem to linger in your mind. I was a professor in a college setting and would get evaluations each semester. While I would get many very positive, supportive comments about my work, it was the one or two negative ones I tended to dwell on. Frustrating but it is human nature. People need to get a grip and also realize the very simple fact that if you have oily skin or dry or combo, a product may very well not sit as well on your skin as theirs.Not only do skin type and climate play a huge role in the way your makeup will look, but light will too! I live in France and when I go to visit my mom in Texas the foundation which looks great on me in France (color wise) looks too yellow in Texas because the sun hits differently there. Hi Risa. When I have that issue with the glasses nose pad, I get the pads replaced and have it adjusted. If your glasses do not have pads, consider having the nose pad metal arms installed to your glasses. I get everything done at Lense Crafters ❤

Risa, I am a lipstick junkie (I am 77). I just bought and love the Westman Atelier suede matte lipstick in Je Reve. Before this purchase I had only one matte lipstick (MAC's Velvet Teddy in the original formula). A sephora sales associate was raving about how creamy the Westman Atelier lipstick is and she was right. They are very pigmented so depending on the application, you can tone down the color. They don't have many colors but the shade I bought is perfect for me. I sometimes add a touch of gloss.

Edit: I love the format of your recent blush video. I thought it was really fun! Some people!....I don't understand the point of watching a makeup video about favorite products if you already know or expect certain items to be on it. I don't understand where the fun is in that! People who go into watching a video and then get mad because a product isn't shown makes NO sense to me. I personally love hearing about products I haven't tried or haven't considered because it's almost like a little treasure hunt. I don't feel the need to buy everything someone suggests, and I don't get offended if something I like isn't mentioned by someone else. It's weird for people to have such strong feelings over something as simple and subjective as an opinion on a makeup product. I wear glasses everyday, and I always get indents from my glasses. Foundation and concealer like to collect on the bridge of my nose where my glasses sit. I’ve started powdering with a poof, and it works really well. That’s another tip from you! ❤

I highly recommend trying the Melanie Mills setting spray. I live in Houston and my makeup doesn't budge! No sticky feeling. I also use it on face and body. Has a slight lavender scent.

One more thing I can't wait for you to review the new Nars Lip Oil. I bought it in Orgasm and it's such a unique formula. This is hard for me to say but I MIGHT like it better than my beloved DIOR Lip OIL. I can't wait for your review on it.
