Best find for me in 2023 was discovering Nikki and her channel 🙌🏼 no one else in the makeup tutorial and review videos compares to her! She is such a beauty inside and out and really knows her craft. I’ve tried several Rare Beauty products because of you and, so far, love them. The eye brightening concealer is right up my alley. Natural, not heavy and of course brightening. 50 y/o here so I have to be careful with make up or else I will look older. Less is always more, plus getting the right product helps a lot. As a person who wears a mostly minimal style type of makeup, i absolutely loooooove the danessa myricks groundworks palette! It actually makes me want to break out of my comfort zone and try different eye looks! And I was so curious about her metallic one. I think your review is convincing me to try that one too! Favourite eyeshadow launch was definitely the Surratt Soufflé Eyeshadows. Beautiful desaturated colours and they last for ages and can be sheer wash or built up.

So new to makeup in my older age, 56. That Danessa Myricks Groundwork is the most amazing thing I have used! The lightest color matches me in a way that I can use it in my deeper wrinkles, like around my mouth and eyes, and they just disappear! It's magic for me!

Fun fact - I started using the DM light works V palette to get the chrome affect on my nails!! Rub the shadow on, cover w/gel top coat and cure. So pretty!!

Love your videos and your calm teaching style! Can you pleeeease do a short video on how to do makeup to conceal milia? Especially milia that is right on the outer upper cheekbone close to the eye… it’s literally where highlighter and blush go, and those really emphasize the bumps. I just picked up the MAKE powder you mentioned. Sounds perfect for what I've been searching for. My favorite new launch of 2023 was the Flower Knows Little Angel line of eye shadows, blushes, etc. I only got those 2 things, but both are absolutely lovely products. The packaging is the biggest wow factor, but thankfully the products wind up being quite good. This line was definitely needed, because their earlier releases didn't have enough diversity of shades nor color saturation to fit darker skin tones.

You should try Guerlain Terracotta foundation. Is AMAZING!!! So long lasting and looks soooo natural and luminous with high coverage. I try usually a lot of foundations and it's one of the best I ever tried!

Happy birthday Nikki , a dark horse that was released is a Clinique Hugh Impact High Fi full volume mascara . You should give her a go , you won’t look back . Never a flake or smudge , this should be the one coat wonder .

I discovered the new Rose Inc Softlight Skin Smoothing foundation and not only did they have a medium cool toned shade which no one has, but the foundation is beautiful and you need very little of it for amazing coverage. Definitely recommend everyone giving it a try!

I discovered the new YSL Mini Clutch shadows and they are pricey but worth it. I’m only 40 but I think years of swimming in the AZ Sun did a number on my no-so-firm eyelids, and these shadows are incredible. I have 200 (favorite) and 400 and trying to grab the taupe one. They are special and amazing for non-pros. Expensive but absolutely worth it!

Wonderful video and I love (and own) so many of the products that you showcased today. I think I am the only person that can't wear the Tower 28 Concealer. I have tried several times and it just doesn't work on my mature under eyes. I have all of the mascaras you mentioned in my drawer and I rotate them constantly. I was so happy for Tower 28, GXVE and Huda on their mascara launches - stellar! Let's face it, Danessa Myricks is the queen of eyes....her formulas are the best on the market.. Happy New Years Nikki ! Your eyebrows look so pretty! They look a bit different, but so pretty. I purchased Huda Beauty One Coat WOW mascara, it’s horrible 😢such a wet formula and so hard to work with. It for sure doesn’t give me length, yet does give volume, yet gets so clumpy and flakes. I am so flustered with trying to make it work. I know and understand that not every product works great one each individual. I for sure am going to try the cyclone foundation, tower 28 concealer and their mascara. Thank you for bringing to us you 2023 faves.

You absolutely have to try, Maxine’s Revenge!! You must! It’s concealer and she’s brand new so shade range is limited. However, the FORMULA IS OUTSTANDING! Especially for mature skin. I got the neutral med shade and use it all over. It’s AMAZING!

Really needing to do a better job with undereye concealing. Was pretty sure I was going to do the ND corrector + concealer, but then saw a video talking about the Huda beauty ones. Sounded like a fuller coverage, plus apparently just came out with a new pink shade.
