This video has gotten a lot of popularity lately, so I just want to address a few things that are often brought up in the comments. First of all, yes I said "Asstributes" it is both unfortunate and hilarious. Also, when I am referring to the biddybuggy as the best kart, I'm not saying that there is no reason to use the others, it just has the best stats for the most situations. I am also not saying that speed isn't important, I am saying that you get more speed from having a good mini turbo stat, than you do from having a good speed stat. I do say that characters are all preference in this video, and there are reasons to pick heavy or light characters, but I'm going to save that for another video. Stats will only do so much. I normally use the most well rounded kart combos and consistently place top 3. Keep in mind half the people in the lobby use the waluigi, wild wiggler and roller combo.

So basically, Koopa is the best all-around character, the Standard Bike, Flame Flyer, and Wild Wiggler are all great karts, the Standard wheels are the best of all wheels, and speed gliders are better all-around than acceleration gliders, and the heavy gliders make up for Koopa's lost weight, which means the Wario Wing, Plane Glider, and Gold Glider.

Same lol, i didn’t even know that there was a difference I mini-turbo from cart to cart, and wheel to wheel, since it doesn’t show it on the stats page, when you press +. I just assumed that vehicles with high top speeds (speed stats), were better. Therefore I just used the circuit special, with the cyber slick wheels haha. I also largely went for aesthetic...

I've been using acceleration focused combos online just because of how often unavoidable items come at you, and I thought that was why I was doing better. I did sorta realize later that I was keeping up speed wise with lots of boosting but I never quite put the pieces together about which stats were most important.

Acceleration is so great to be able to have as a result of going for mini turbo wspecially for online. With online you can just get totally mopped by 6 items in a row on a straightaway so having that acceleration negates so much of that.

You should use this:wario biddy buggy roller and cloud glider. You will have a medium speed stat and have good miny turbo and good acceleration and handling. And for 200cc it’s better to use lighter characters and biddy buggy.

Yeah I'm still gonna rock the straight all gold parts/Mario build because I worked my ass off to get it all. And honestly I still consistently place 1st or 2nd online. I'm of the opinion that in most cases, track knowledge, mechanic knowledge, and personal preference (generally whatever you're used to using) are all still going to help your performance in game. Raw statistics have their place, but unless I'm doing TT's, I just play with what I like.

COOLMCDEN 2109 No completely different mode. In 200 it’s necessary to have a lot more handling to be able to drive the ideal line (which isn’t possible when you’re going for speed). In 150 however you can easily play with maxed out speed and nearly no handling. I was also wondering why he recommended this stuff until I saw this comment ^^

The first set of wheels like slick and cyber slick can actually be really good because if your cart or bike has high mini turbo then these wheels can really help. Especially on maps that have a lot less turns.

I'm almost positive that Mario Kart Double Dash on the Gamecube was the first Mario Kart game with cart customization options (numerous karts to unlock with differing stats) - the newer games just added the wheels and gliders as additional options.

I prioritize acceleration, its inevitable that youre going to get hit with items or screw up and fall behind. So i figure having max acceleration to get you back in the race makes the most sense.

I've only focused on acceleration, but I have been using the pipe frame and standard tires, just because it's Mario Kart 64 nostalgia.

I use Ludwig in the Landship with the azure rollers and cloud glider just because it was the combo I found I liked, turns out it’s one of the best you can have😂🤷🏽‍♂️

The w25 with the roller wheels are my personal favorite. I recommend it for those who rely on drifting and acceleration rather than speed. I've consistently been able to make huge gaps between me(1st place) and 2nd place with that and drifting alone.

If you don't have the time to watch the video, this is what he said without too much science. AMAZING VIDEO BY THE WAY, PLEASE WATCH IT IF YOU HAVE THE TIME! Here is the best combo for most 150cc Time Trials and all tracks online: Luigi, Pipe Frame or Wild Wiggler, Roller Wheels, Cloud Glider. Amazing Handling and Mini-turbo Stat while having a tiny bit of speed. In Deluxe, Mini-Turbo matters more than Speed. Here is the best combo for most 200cc Time Trials and all tracks Online: Baby Daisy, Mr Scooty, Roller, Cloud Glider. Highest Handling and Mini-Turbo stat, enabling super high speeds through mini-turbo and less brake-drifting needed due to high Mini-Turbo. If you prefer inwards drifting: This is the best inwards drifting combo for both 150cc and 200cc: Any light character (my preference for 150 is toadette [speed stat] and for 200cc is baby daisy [handling stat]) coupled with comet and Roller tires as well as Cloud Glider. For Time Trials, unless you are trying to set world records, the combos stated above are the most consistent combos for getting good times. However, for world records, you have to see which track you are on and use the MK8DX builder at mk8dxbuilder.com/ to see what the best combo for each particular track is based on the advanced stats they give there, OR an even easier option: look at what the world record uses right now. Warning: your time trial options are not the same as your regular race options due to the RNG involved in online races. Unless you plan your items to dodge shocks and red, gree, or blue shells, you will have to use something with fantastic acceleration and anyways mini-turbo is a must, so use the above combinations and you will not regret it. I use the City Tripper and off road wheels for normal racing, and sponge for battle or 200cc. I’m not really sure why I like those wheels so much, so I should try the rollers out some time

C H A R A C T E R S The best large-heavy characters are either Waluigi or Princess Rosalina (Stock), & the best small-light character is Baby Princesa Rosalina. However, I'd HIGHLY Recommend using Yoshi or Princess Peach (Stock). This is because they're both medium-midweight character classes with nice stat spreads. They're identical, so just choose your preference. Anyway, this "Græy-Of-The-Road" option means that it will be moderately easy to learn & handle, while also having a decent skill-ceiling. Being a mid-weight also means players will find it MUCH easier to switch to either a lightweight character or a heavyweight character, should they ever decide to try something different. W H E E L S / T I R E S Of course, the Azure-Rollers are the best in the game. Why are you using stock-rollers? Switch to azure rollers; they're better because they're blue. However, a lot of newbies don't like the small stature of the azure rollers & want something larger. If your friend is stubborn, then tell them to try on The Crimson Slim Medium Tires. They're the best Normally-Sized tires, but I recommend you keep pestering your friend about ditching them for azure rollers. If your friend is too addicted to monster trucks & is begging for the best extra-large tire, try recommending to him the Cushion Wheels. They're just better than the Hot-Monster in every way. Once again, I can't stress enough how much better the Azure Rollers are compared to literally anything & everything else. Seriously, use these tires. G L I D E R S / B A L L O O N S The Cloudtop Balloons are the Go-To for MetaRunners, since they're in the "Good-Stats" category, & I tend to be able to see through them better than any other gliders. They also look nicer, in my opinion. However, I find myself using the either of the Parafoils. They look nice, are still pretty good, you can see through them decently, & I guess I'm just more used to the parafoils. The MK8D-TV Parafoil has nice colors, but the crummy business logo really cuta me, whereas stock parafoil sacrifices that logo in exchange for an awful color combination. V E H I C L E S Of the many vehicles, there are four different categories; karts, bikes, sport-hangers, & ATV's. Let's see what these 4 best carts are: KARTS Just as the video says, the Biddybuggy is the best kart in the game. I always recommend it. I always perform better on the Biddybuggy Kart than the Lil' Scooty Bike, evem though they're next to identical & what differences are there the Lil' Scooty Bike pulls ahead, but I just can't shake it; I always feel like I'm doing better with this thing. BIKES Lil' Scooty is in this slot too, big surprise. If you really wanna go full Ultra-Turbo-TryHard-Deluxe mode, then this dinky little thing is the way to go, in my opinion. There seems to be more off-road punishes than drop-off punishes in MK8D's tracks, so you'll find a better time cornering with the bike, & because of its small hitbox you can dodge items easier. SPORTS HANG-IN'S The Comet & The Yoshi Bike are identical, & are the best inwards-drifters. The Comet looks nicer on generally anyone, but since Yoshi is one of the best characters in the game, the fitting match with the Yoshi Bike is bound to look nice. Personally, I DESPISE Inwards-Drifting. It feels so _Alien,_ & it fries all of the muscle memory in my neurons & I DON'T LIKE IT. But if you manage to defy both logic & the odds & you find yourself preferring inwards-drift, then these two bikes are the way to go. I will say that apparently, inwards-drift is superior for Time-Trials. So, there's that, I guess. ALL-TERRAIN-VEHICLES The Wild-Wiggler is the best ATV in the game, hands-down. However, I still prefer The Biddybuggy Kart in 150cc-200cc races, sp I only ever dust off my Wild-Wiggler for BATTLE Gamemodes. I find the Wild-Wiggler's stats PERFECT for battle mode. In the end, use the Biddybuggy Kart for 150cc-Races, use the Lil'-Scooty Bike for 200cc-Races, use the Comet Sports Hang-In / Yoshi-Bike Sports Hang-In for Time-Trials thanks to their inwarda-drifting, & use the Wild-Wiggler in battles.

I went off Acceleration and Handling before watching this video with S tier Azure Rollers, S tier Mrscooty, and Cloud Glider. Plus the colors actually work pretty well with Baby Rosalina (Very high acceleration + Lightweight) if you are looking for a good character use lightweights (Any baby character) you'll be crushing your friends in no time with these :)
