Dolton and, to a greater extent, Thornton Township, is very poor. You drive down Dolton, Riverdale, Harvey, Dixmoor, Calumet City and other cities, you will discover blocks upon blocks of vacant homes, dilapidated homes, and homes where they need to be torn down. How can you be content with that? How can you, as a resident, be content with a Supervisor spending money on lavish things, misappropriating the funds, and using tax payers funds to go on lavish vacations, places where these residents will never go to in a lifetime? How can you be content with this leadership? This is why i can not feel sorry for the residents. They voted her in as Mayor, and so they get what they deserve

If you look at the news story about the history of them voting her in you will learn that they had 12 minutes to pick somebody. So a guy named Gonzales I think was his name, just threw her name out and they only had a few minutes left so they picked her. This guy had no idea that she already had issues in Dalton and the whole board hated her, so he said after she got voted in, she went back to her new office and was yelling. What are they gonna say now, what are they gonna say now? so he asked somebody on the board what is going on here, why is saying these things, and the guy told him that everybody hated her. So this Gonzales guy that put her up, said he was immediately regretful. He said, I thought omg what did I do? So that does explain some things, they just had to pick her in less than 12 minutes. So they really just didn’t know what kind of criminal they were picking.
