I know the Madigans weren't popular and I wasn't a big fan either.... but the Illinois AG office used to get things done when you called with a consumer complaint under Lisa Madigan! You could actually go in the office too and meet and talk to someone, just anyone off the street could. And they'd write a letter for you, and call for you, and advocate for you if you were scammed. This new office under Kwame you can't even go in the building now its locked, you have to submit your pleas on a form in writing to a policeman at a window! And then wait days for a call back. They never answer the phone at the Capitol, ever.... you call the Chicago office and its so informal it sounds like calling someone's house and they're annoyed. Its just awful. You feel like you're bothering them, and they make you feel like you're a waste of their time. I thought Democrats fought for the little guy, but I'm not impressed by the current regime much at all.

At Thornton township she is making $306,000 a year and just put out a budget where she will get a $90,000 raise this year. That would make her salary almost $400,000 as supervisor. You put them together she will be making $500,000 a year this year. She literally makes more than the president if the United States. More than governors, senators even attorney generals. Every year since being elected she has given herself over 30% raises which is not even legal. Elected officials are not allowed to raise their income midterm. Even with all of this she feels it necessary to stealto and to charge everything to the tax payers credit cards. Even her clothes and make up.
