Markiplier said he could have contributed to society by being an engineer, but he does way more by helping depressed people and doing charities. He puts a smile on my face. I know this is an older video, but I just wanted this to be here as a note of proof of how I feel about Mark. I was very depressed. I still am a very gloomy and sad person, but I was in a dark place. I had suicidal thoughts and even tried once. Fun fact: Human beings cannot drown themselves without any type of weight. Their brain will eventually force them about the water if they don't have something forcibly holding them down. Anyways, I tried and I'm so glad that my brain works that way. I still don't like my life, but I'm in the process of making it better. Mark puts a smile on my face with ever video. His crying makes me cry every time and it honestly helps me a lot. My tears make me smile and bring me to peace. So yea, I don't care if Mark never sees this, because it's most likely that he never will, but thank you. Sincerely, A 13 year-old skrub

I know I'm late, but Mark genuinely worries me sometimes. I hope he doesn't actually regret his life choices, and I hope he doesn't actually lay awake at night thinking of 'wasted potential'. He's already contributing to society in a beautiful way: making a positive difference in the lives of both those who are troubled/less fortunate and his fans/supporters in general. (Excuse me for taking a joke seriously but that was honestly kinda sad to hear)

As an actual mechanic, I can vouche that this is the exact opposite of what we’re really like. We try to keep you from having to come back because it ruins our reputation. I’ve been working on cars since I was 4 years old and helping him at work and I have made plenty of people mad because their transmission casing is cracked and they broke a gear so they had to spend $3,000 to get it replaced
