i have been checking out your product for some time now. my question is how long does the solution wear off and when should there be a re-application. also how does it hold up against heavy trucks. thank you.
@k3111 ай бұрын
The product does not wear off, as long as you keep up basic maintenance as with any other type of road it will keep performing. Depending on the use of the road and the amount of traffic you may have to do a surface spray mostly for wear and tear protection. But there is no reapplication of the product necessary. You can watch several videos we have of the product performing very well with heavy trucks, even 220-ton mining trucks. Thank you.

Can this be done for a road containing much stones and rocks?
@k313 жыл бұрын
Yes, it can be done. You may need to add some sand or laterite to obtain some level of mechanical bonding if the stones are too large but other than that you'll be fine. If you have more questions kindly email info@k31.org and one of the technicians will be happy to assist you.

Ken you can pave it with asphalt or concrete if you like, but you can also leave it as is and use it as a final road. Thank you for your comment.

The same way you maintain an asphalt road, if you see an area getting eroded repair it before if becomes bad. Here's a video of how to do the repairs: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5WsqpesZ8yNoq8

Superb..1km how many tote do you use and how many days can it finish..? Thank you
@k315 жыл бұрын
It depends on the width, but let's assume a 6-meter wide road. You will use 9 totes, which includes the base and the 3 top seal coats. We have an online calculator in which you can input your measurements and will tell you how many liters you need. This is the link: www.k31.org/calculator/ . It will take 3 to 5 days to finish this kilometer.

IF THIS is truly cost effective...for its lifespan before repair...and perform well under rain...then it is good ...so long as it is stable. i am in philippines...and plan some access roads that ARE stable..that can eventually...be concrete layered...my question is if that were needed for longer term ...is the two phase laying more costly than putting concete from the start? i ask because i am a poperty owner..in Mindanao philippines in a largely agricultural area...that is just outside of town...and i am developing my late mother s estate...(21 hectares originally and not all hectarage is in family hands anymore ..BUT each road is retained PRIVATELY...and i simply don t want the municipal gvernment to 'Assist" ...the roads crisscross the entire estate...so it is perhaps a few kilmeters worth... just looking for infrmation to compare things...the land is definitely rainy...the estate has a long winding original stream that is rather wide (but no longer DEEP the way it was when i grew decades ago ---i was away for 36 years in New York city...and came back seeing the land was so ruined by the people who subsequently lived here) ...there are also numerous other narrower streams...i am trying to rescucitate its condition ...because i decided some hectares to be for housing..which is a great need in the big Municipality...which rather failed at managing things since i left long ago... i ve been studying different road building ways ..
@teodorojaranilla50083 жыл бұрын
i also bought a five hectare prorperty n other side of this municipality...it is called MIDSAYAP. and that new property yet has to be developed..i hope by next year...depending on how my budget goes. NEEDLESS to say i am a Private owner and want to maximiize my lower budget than that of public works...at least until i am more established 'BACK HOME" here..since i practically had to learn over the last year only...since i came back home...I AM already having lot buyers because i decided to sell lots and expect (on what is left of the estate ,,,besides retained area...) approximately 300 home lots... as well ..a separate portion of my late mother s estate is in a different location WITHIN her late father.s original estate which was originally from 1921 about 160 hectares...then down to 120 hectares...altogether... the area just outside town is considered here a very important and strateg my cousins have their remaining shares..that eventually will have to be developed and need GOOD roads...so ..where OUR common family roads are concerned it is a very wide expanse of road networks,,, which remain PRIVATE...and do NOT belong to the township (althought they use them as "public space/use"...
@k313 жыл бұрын
It is extremely cost-effective. Once you build your road with APS you really don't need to add a concrete layer on top. The APS road will stand on its own. We have customers in Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, etc. which have weather patterns very similar to the Philippines, and the product performs extremely well. Kindly email info@k31.org and one of our technicians will be happy to assist you. Thank you.

I received cost information from different manufacturers of this solution. Looking at the costs I do not see any economic value in it.
@k315 жыл бұрын
We have no way of knowing what you've received from others, but with K31-APS you're getting a functional road which is 40-50% cheaper than asphalt or concrete.
@efesair43365 жыл бұрын
@@k31 That also depends on the cost of asphalt or concrete at the location. For me in Turkey the "classic" solution of road construction is a financially better option. But, I am not saying that your technology is bad or not useful etc.
