TURN ON CEC OPTIONS !!!!! It is a gread device. For all of you that struggle with lagging: Turn on all three CEC options. Enable DEV options -> Reduce animations to 0,5 or turn them off. Reduce active background procesess to max 4. Enjoy!

@@r0j0e I have a 2011 , Samsung 5 series 40 inch LED ( not even LCD ) . It has anynet ( hdmi- CEC ) . It works flawlessly .the Sony dvd player's remote can be used to control TV via CEC. CEC technology is quite old .

Don't use Launchers just for accessing side loaded apps. They don't always work, as mentioned in comments already by many. Instead use Tv Repo app, this allows to create shortcuts for any app you have installed. Later bring those shortcuts to ur main screen.

If accessing side loaded apps is the only reason you using ATV launcher then use TVRepo app. It allows you to create shortcut for any apk and open it up from the already provided launcher

I Also purchased MI Box S but i see one weird issue...i am not able to delete any files on HDD or Pend drive it says some file system issue. I tried almost all the apps for file manager but no solution provided till date. it says direct access volume was denied. i gave all the permission to apps but all vain. i reached to mi global and india service store but no solution till date..hope if u can help me

If u Download cetus play. And connect with mi box . you have a virtual remote control. You can open all tasks. And close all . With the physical remote control is all that not possible.

Hold down the PS button and Share button on your PS4 controller for 3 seconds, until the light bar starts rapidly flashing. This will put the controller into pairing mode. Next, in your mi box, go to settings and then Bluetooth. Look for PS4 Controller there, once you find it, select that. If ask for a password, type 0000 for typing the Pair Code.
